Be it known that I, .WILBUR A. SNYDER, a citizen of the United States, residingl at Montoursville, in the county of Lycomin and State of Pennsylvania, have lnventey certain new and useful Improvements in Coin or Ticket Holders, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanyi fr drawings.

This invention re ates to new and useful improvements in holders and more particularly to a holder adapted to be detachably secured to a milk bott-le or other receptacle, e the object of the invention being to rovide a simple and inexpensive device for olding a coin, ticket 0r other token land which 1n turn is detachably secured lto the bottle or other container in which milk, cream, water and the like are delivered to the consumer.

Heretofore i-t has been usual for the consumer to leave the ticket'in or opposite the bottle, when left lying opposite the bottle, the ticket is liable to be blown away, and when placed in a wet bottle difficulty is experienced by the milk ,man in removing vthe ticket. A ticket thus left in av wet bottle is damaged and its period 'of usefulness shortened,

A further object of the invention is to provide a holder of the above character which not only serves the pu ose of holdshown at l0 so that the supporting member ing the coins, tickets, etc., but 1s also adapt.- ed for use in signifying to the deliver man the amount of cream, milk, etc., which 1s desired by the consumer.

Another object of the invention is to provide a holder of the above character which will possess advantages in points of efficiency and durability, is inexpensive to manufacture and at the same time is simple in construction and operation.

With the above and other objects in View, the invention consists in the novel features of construction and the combinationand arrangementof parts hereinafter more fully described, pointed out in the claims and shown in the accompanying drawings in which,

The receptacle l is provided on each side i .thereof with a character, the character upon one side ofthe receptacle indicating to the deliveryman that the consumer desires a quart of milk, cream or the like, while the character on the opposite side of the receptacle indicates to thefdeliveryman that the consumer desires a pint of milk, cream or the like, the consumer placing a sutlicient supply of change or tickets within the receptacle to assure the deliveryman of the :correct amount which is desired. Thus it will be seen that by the arrangement of the oppositely disposed hooks 11, the receptacle 1 may be detachably secured to a container and the character which represents the amount desired by the consumer will be visible to t-he deliveryman. If it should happen that the consumer desires more than a quart, enough change or tickets will be placed in the receptacle acording to the Idesired amount which is wanted.

While I have shown and described the preferred form of my invention, it will be obvious that various changes in the details of construction and in the proportions may be resorted to for successfully carryin my invention into practice without sacri cing any of the novel features or departing from the scope thereof.

What I claim is 1. In a device of the character described, the combination of a receptacle of substantially rectangular shape, a supporting bracket having its ends arranged within the receptacle and secured thereto, a supporting element loosely secured to the bracket, and

oppositely disposed hook members formed integral with the supporting element whereby the receptacle may be detachably s'uspended from any suitable support.
