An ink-roll for printing-presses consisting of a hollow perforated cylinder, a bar arranged therein adjacent the wall thereof, a pair of radial arms supporting said bar, each arm having at its inner end an outwardly extended gudgeon arranged co-axially with respect to the cylinder permitting movement ofthe bar and cylinder, one with respect to the other, to force ink through the perforations in the cylinder, gudgeons being made tubular and open at'each end, whereby ink may be conducted through it into the cylinder, and means arranged on the tubular gudgeon for connection therewith of a collapsible tube, substantially as described.

An ink-roll for printing-presses conof a hollow perforated cylinder and a radially disposed 'frame-bar therein having gudgeons at its ends permitting movement of the frame-bar and cylinder, one with respect to the other, to force ink throu h the said gudgeons having a hole throughit longitudinally, and an end-piece arranged on the hollow threade portion adapted to receive the screw-threaded nipple of a collapsible tube,

An ink-roll for printing-presses consisting of a hollow perforated cylinder and a radlally disposed frame-bar therein having gudgeons at its ends permitting movement of the bar and cylinder, one with respect to the other, toforce ink through the perforations in the cylinder, one of said gudgeons gudgeon having an internally screwhaving a hole through it longitudinally, and an end-piece arranged on the hollow gudgeon having an internally screw-threaded portion to receive the screw-threaded nipple of a collapsible tube and having means surrounding said screW-threaded portion to support the end of the as described.

An ink-roll for printing presses, consisting of a hollow perforated cylinder and a radially disposed frame-bar therein having gudgeons at its ends `permitting movement of the frame-bar and cylinder, one with respect to the other, to force ink through the lperforations in the cylinder, one of said gudgeons having a hole through it longitudinally, and an end-piece arranged on the hollow gudgeon having an internally screwthreaded portion to receive the screw-threaded nipple of a collapsible tube, and having a conical flange surrounding said screwthreaded portion adapted to be engaged by the end of said. tube, substantially as described.
6. An ink-roll for printing presses, consistlng of a hollow perforated cylinder andv a radially disposed frame-bar therein havingr gudgeons at its ends permitting movement of the frame-bar and cylinder, Aone with respect to theother, to force ink through the perforations in the cylinder, means connectied with the cylinder and means connected with the frame-bar, arranged to be manually engaged, to turn one with yrelation to the other, substantially as described.`
