IMPROVED STAND AND CLOTHES-DINER.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same To all whom 'it may concern Be it known that I, MICHAEL E. CHARLES, of Hope, in the county of Bartholomew and State of Indiana, have invented a new and improved Combined Stand and Clothes-Drier; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of' the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing forming a part o't' this specificatioinin whichupper innelgends, by which -links the arms are coneoted with staples, e, which project downward in an annular row from near the edge of a disk, h, which is attached to the under side of the circular top b, c oncentrically therewith.
The staples e are placed each in one of the sockets Ii, of which there is a radial row around the rim of the disk h. It the arms care to hang pendent, this is acoomplished by the connection of the links d with the staples e, as shown in iig. 1. When itV is desired to s et up the clothes-dryer, the arms c are passed through the staples ent-o the sockets t, and, by the sockets and staples, securely held, as, also, shown 1n lig. l.
This combination forms a convenient domestic article of furniture, being especially useful for drying the smaller piecesot' clothing, as of a childs wardrobe, .which, when thoroughly dried, may be laid on the stand topf.
