FLOWER-HOLDER.

To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, MARY BUGLA, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at Frederick, in the county of Weld and State of Colorado, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in F lower- Holders, of which the following is a specificati'on, reference being had therein to the accompanying drawing.
This invention relates to flower holders, and the object of my invention is to provide a novel vase or receptacle for holding out flowers, the vase or receptacle having provision whereby it can be flushed and thoroughly cleansed, also provision whereby it can be easily carried or suspended from a suitable support.
I attain the above object by a double receptacle that is preferably made of a vitreous material, as glass, the receptacle being inexpensive to manufacture, neat in appearance and highly eflicient as a centerpiece for a table.
The invention will be hereinafter specifically described and then claimed, and reference will now be had to the drawing, wherein:
Figure 1 is a side elevation of the flower holder partly broken away and partly in section, and Fig. 2 is a plan of the same.
A flower holder in accordance with this invention comprises receptacles A and B that are identical in construction, each receptacle comprising a hollow base 1, a neck 2 and a funnel shaped mouthpiece 3, said neck having a globular intermediate portion 4. The hollow base of each receptacle has an annular foot 5 and the hollow bases of said receptacles are connected by a tube 6. The hollow base 1 of the receptacle A has an eXteriorly threaded nipple 7 provided with a detachable cap 8, and by removing the cap 8, the interior of the receptacles can be flushed and thoroughly cleansed.
The globular intermediate portions 4 of the necks 2 are connected to the ornamental ends 9 of a hanger 10, said hanger having an inverted \l-shape with the apex thereof provided with a four pronged hook 11, that serves as a handle for carrying the holder or for suspending the same from a suitable support.
The receptacles are made from a single piece of material, the cap 8 of a separate piece of material and the hanger 10 of a separate piece, the ends of said hanger being soldered or otherwise connected to the receptacles to brace the necks 2 and permit of the holder being safely carried withoutsubjecting the connecting tube 6 to any strains.
What I claim is 1. A flower holder comprising receptacles having hollow bases, a tube connecting the hollow bases of said receptacles, a nipple carried by the hollow base of one of said receptacles, a cap detachably mounted upon said nipple, and a hanger arranged between said receptacles and having the ends thereof connected to said receptacles.
2. A flower holder comprising receptacles having necks provided with funnel-shaped mouthpieces and globular intermediate portions, a tube connecting said receptacles, a nipple carried by one of said receptacles, a cap detachably mounted upon said nipple, and a hanger having the ends thereof connected to the globular intermediate portions of the necks of said receptacles.
3. A flower holder comprising receptacles, a tube connecting said receptacles, a nipple carried by one of said receptacles, means for closing said nipple, a hanger having the ends thereof connected to said receptacles, and a pronged hook carried by said hanger.
