General Description.

Y placing them in their seatsin the mold, which is then `closed and the metal poured, the metal runningnpon r -the shank of the lug, as shown insection, fig. 2,?in which -a is the lug and b the handle run thereon.

I am aware that iron has been run `upon iron in many instances, but never, to my knowledge, has `a gray iron handle been cast upon a malleable lug'ffor x the purpose as set forth.
