Beit known that I, ELAM'FISHER, of Detroit, in the count-yof Wayne and State of Michigan, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Duck-Gall, and I do declarethat the following is a true and-accurate description thereof, .reference being had to the accompanying drawings mrd to the letters .of reference marked thereon, and being a part of this specification. y

The nature of this invention relates to the construction of an implement for the use ofsportsmen and hunters in duck-hunting.

It consists of a reed instrument of peculiar' construction, as more fully hereinafter described.

In the accompanying drawings-.-

A represents two sections, each beingalike, of semicircuiar pieces of wood, concave on the inside, while the upper ends of the Vouter sides are rounded off, as shown.

Between these two sections, tlie'concave sides ofA which t together, is fitted a thin reed, B, of sheet copper preferably, which in its shape conforms to the shape of the sections on a line through their center.

The opposite ends of the sections A and reed B are inclosed in the upper end of a bell-month or conicalyshaped mouth, C, which is made of bone or horn, turned Off, inside and out,'thin, to give the necessary tone to the instrument, to produce as perfect an imitation of the quack or call of a wild duck as is possible.
