' To'all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, LOUIS Break, a citizen ofthe United States, and a resident of New York city, county and State vof New York, have invented a certain new and useful Improvement in Earpiece-Disinfectors, of which the following is a specification.
- This. invention relates to means for dis 7 and is provided with an opening and a bell shaped cavity or sound-amplifier. In the practice of my invention, I retain all these peculiarities, while providing for the use of the disinfectant.
In the accompanying drawing, forming part of this specification, the reference lettera marks a hard rubber cap which is provided with screw-threads 7) whereby it screws on the end of the magnet-holder and is also provided with an opening a for the purpose of exposing the diaphragm (not shown).

When the cap 9 is screwed down hard, there is left a narrow slit '5 between the flange h and the outer face of the collar -d, whereby a passageway is provided for the escape of disinfectant into the bell mouth, whence it spreads into thev diaand so preventing the spread of disease.
What I claim is- In the ear-piece of a receiver, a grooved collar for holding disinfectant, and a screw cap covering said collar and groove and leaving an adjustable opening for the passage of disinfectant. p
