Be it known that we, MAURICE AGKER AN,
"a citizen of the Dominion of Canada, and
ABRAHAM BLEICHER, a citizen of the United States, both residents of Washington, in
the District of Columbia, have, made a certain new and useful Invention in Garment- Hangers; and we declare the following to be a full,'clear, and exact description of the same, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the invention, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, and to letters or figures of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.
'Figure "1 is a perspective view of our hanger. Fig. 2 is a central vertical longitudinal section of the joint between the sections of the coat hanger. Fig. 3 is a central vertical transverse section of the same.
The invention has relation to garment hangers, havin for its object the provision of an improve hanger for coat, vest, and pants.
Other objects and advantages will hereinafter appear. 1
The invention consists in the novel construc'tion and combinations of parts'as here .inafter set forth.
In the accompanying drawings illustrating the invention, the numeral 1, designates a coat hanger composed of two sections 2, 2, which meet or abut'at their inner ends at 3. Secured within the meeting ends of the said sections is a metal loop plate 4, the branches bearing 8 for a vest holder 9, said vest holder being formed preferably of a single piece of wire, having its central straight portion 10, in engagement with said loop bearing, and downward bent inclined side portions 11 separated from the lowersur- Specification of Letters Patent. Having thus described our invention,
what we claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent is 1. In a garment hanger, a coat holder composed of two abutting sections having longitudinal parallel channels commencing at their meeting ends, a loop plate having parallel branches engaging said channels and a lower loop bearing, transverse rivets engaging said sections and said branches, and a lower vest holder having a'central portion engaging said loop bearing.
