My invention in its broad aspect comi prises a channeled member adapted Jfor placing within masonry or concrete or similar material which delines the outline of the concrete and provides a duct or channel lwithin which lthese supporting means are held, and within which they are adjustably mounted. In the construction of cement ceilings for instance, it is desirable thatv the channel or slot be formed therein as the concrete is being put into place, and my invention contemplates that a suitable metal lining for the slot be placed upon.- the centering or' false woodwork which confines the cementor concrete as it is shoveled into place. Having thus set forth my inventiomwhat I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent is:

In a device of the character described the combination with a metal frame comprising a head or channel portion closed at its top and sides and having flange portions projecting` inwardly from the lower 'extremity of each side portion but spaced apart so as to provide an opening or slot, the flange portions offering supportfor a headed bolt, closely engaging the shank of the same, said fiange vportions being extended downwardly and outwardly to form a Haring chamber within which the bolt shank and its engaging nut may be carried during the molding of concrete about the hanger support.
2. In a device of the character described the combination with a metal frame comprising a head or flangev portion closed at its top and sides and having channel portions projecting inwardly from the lower extremity of each side portion but spaced apart so as to provide'an opening or slot, the ange portions offering support for a headed bolt, closely engaging the shank of the same, said flange portions being extended downwardly and outwardly to form a flaring chamber within which the bolt shank and its engaging nut may be carried during the molding of concrete about the hanger support, said flange members at their lower extremities terminating in horizontal diverging eXtensions whose outer surfaces are ada ptcd to. lie iush with the surface of the concrete body aforesaid.
