To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, GALLUS VON GLAU- BITZ, chamberlain, a subject of the Grand Duke of Baden, and residing at Munich, Germany, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Toy Airships, of which the following is a specification.
The present invention relates to a toy air-ship consisting of a gas-bag in the shape of a cigar on the style of the rigid dirigibles beneath which is secured a car with bunting, and which is held by a severally bifurcated cord.
In the accompanying drawing the present invention is exemplified and seen in side elevation.
The gas-bag a, which is of a cigar shape when filled is surrounded by two ringshaped straps Z), to which the holding cords c and the cords d supporting the car 6 are attached. From the car 0 cords f are carried to the two ends of the gas-bag and their ends are there secured by means of special caps g. The cords f are trimmed with hunting [1. To the rear end of the gasbag is preferably attached an arrangement i, say a non-return valve, for refilling the gas and besides a device may be provided which will open at a given overpressure.
The air-ship will not only serve as a toy, but may also be used for advertising purposes.
I claim:
Toy air-ship, consisting of a gas-bag having the shape of a cigar when inflated, ringshaped straps on said gas-bag, caps on the ends of the gas-bag and cords attached to said straps and caps respectively and carrying the car and buntin In testimony whereof, I atlix my signature in the presence of two witnesses.
