a series of button holes 3 on one end thereof and a button 4 on the opposite end thereof. Other fastening means may be substituted however for the button and button holes.
Secured to the inner side of the apron l is a pad 5 of felt or other similar material, said pad being preferably secured by stitches to the body of the apron in line with the knees of the wearer. The pad 5 is preferably of rectangular form and is sufficiently flexible to conform to the shape of the apron when placed upon the wearer, said pad preferably extending across the apron a sufficient length to insure contact of the knees with the pad when in use.
My invention is of simple construction, can be manufactured at low cost and will permit free use of the limbs during the scrubbing operation.
I claim:
The herein described scrub apron made from a piece of water-proof fabric, said apron being provided with an adjustable waist-band and a felt pad in the form of a strip secured to the inner surface of the apron, said pad extending entirely across the apron in line with the knees of the wearer and said apron extending below said pad for the purpose described.
In testimony whereof I affix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
