In a device of the class described, the combination with a bank cashiers window, of a hinged shelf arranged outside said window and adapted to swing upwardly and close the same; a pinion for swinging said shelf; a second lnion' meshing with said first mentioned pinion; an arm connected to rotate said last named pinion; a foot lever located below said window on its inner side;
