Abstract

A method of restoring intestinal continuity of colostomy patients with postirradiation changes in organs and tissues of small pelvic includes pre-sewing of colostomy, midline laparotomy, dissection of commissures for revision of abdominal cavity and access to organs of small pelvic. The method provides preparing a stump of rectum to applying anastomosis, excision of colostomy with preparation of colon before the chosen method of anastomosis, formation of anastomosis, closing of laparotomic wound, cutoff the excessive intestine for 12-14 days. The intervention is divided into three stages: Stage I - choice of site and opening of a transparent stump of rectum, which is carried out without its isolation and through all layers; Stage II - a method of forming intussusceptum with colon for construction of a probe on PVC and Stage III - formation of invaginated anastomosis, which does not require the cutoff of intestine.
