Abstract

The invention relates to mechanical engineering and concerns to a method for application of protection and decorative coatings on electroconductive articles. A method comprises the pretreatment coating of articles, placing theirs in vacuum of reaction chamber, formation of pressure of technological vacuum and temperature about 300 °C, formation of abnormal glow discharge in chamber. The articles are placed on metal armature, which rotates and connected to a source of high and reference voltage through switch, and is used as an electrode for formation of abnormal glow discharge of active type, at that air or mix of gases: O, Nand Ar, is supplied under corresponding conditions, further ionic depuration is carried out in medium of abnormal glow discharge, then, by means of the switch it is supplied on articles of reference displacement voltage and is turned system of an evaporator cathode spraying or magnetrone is switched on titanium cathode, or some evaporators of linear type and argon gas is supplied under corresponding conditions, then two reactionary gases: nitrogen Nand acetylene CHare supplied to a zone free from evaporator simultaneously from opposite ends of the chamber under corresponding conditions and film of titanium nitrocarbide is produced. The use of the invention allows to produce a protection coating with stable color characteristics.
