Abstract
The invention relates to metallurgy of cast iron. A conditioning agent for treatment of cast iron smelt contains, w/w: powder of fluorite – 1.0-8.0, aluminium cutting – 1.0-5.0, titanium – 1.0-3.0, powder of waste silicon – 42.0-48.0, magnesium – 5.0-8.0, rare-earth metals – 1.0-2.0 and cast iron cutting – the rest. Proposed conditioning agent allows to use it for producing of cast iron with spherical or vermicular form of graphite, at that conditioning agent improves of mechanical properties of cast iron and on 100 % is dissolved in liquid smelt of cast iron.
