Abstract

Данное изобретение касается огнестойкого изделия и способа изготовления огнестойких изделий из минеральной ваты, например минераловатных плит. В способе минеральное сырье расплавляют и формируют в виде волокон (13) минеральной ваты, которые вслед за этим укладывают одновременно в два или больше отдельных первичных минераловатныих полотна (4а, 4b), каждое на отдельном полотно укладочном барабане (11, 12), после чего эти отдельные первичные минераловатные полотна (4а, 4b) на дальнейшем этапе совмещают в промежуточное минераловатное полотно (38), которое фальцеванием превращают в готовое минераловатное полотно, которое имеет желательную толщину. Перед соединением отдельных первичных минераловатных полотен (4а, 4b) в промежуточное минераловатное полотно (38) на поверхность и/или вглубь по меньшей мере одного из первичных минераловатных полотен (4а или 4b) добавляют огнезащитное вещество в пространство между промежуточными минераловатными полотнами (4а, 4b) по крайней мере по одному продольному участку (40, 41), который имеет ширину, по меньшей мере частично покрывающую ширину первичного минераловатного полотна (4а или 4b) со стороны по меньшей мере одной из кромок (44 или 45) указанного первичного минераловатного полотна. Изобретение способствует равномерному распределению огнезащитного вещества по поверхности первичного минераловатного полотна, а также уменьшению пылеобразования от огнезащитного вещества. Предлагается также устройство для осуществления способа.
