Abstract

A unit for transporting and cleaning tuberous roots comprises a feeding conveyer, a baffle brush, a roller cleaner, consisting of pairs of rollers, which counterrotating, a heap activator, a blanket cleaner and an unloading conveyer. In doing so inside of the roller cleaner, which is formed by two planes, which are arranged at an angle to each other, the vertex of which is directed downwards, the lower parts are mounted rotatably in immovable cylindrical hinges, and the upper ones are connected with mechanisms of changing and fixing incline of angles thereof, an activator is mounted with a gap. Said activator also consists of pairs of rollers of a lesser diameter which counterrotate and create the similar planes thereby, which are fixed on a joint frame, which is movably mounted in an immovable cylindrical hinge, arranged from above. In doing so, from above the rollers, each plane of the activator comprises a drive brush with the downward rotational direction, with long elastic rods, and its frame is kinematically connected with the mechanism of rotational periodic motions.
