Abstract

The invention relates to ferrous industry, in particular to the coke-chemical production, particularly to a method and apparatus for production of blast-furnace coke from the non-coking ranks of coal. The method for production of coke from the non-coking ranks of coal comprises batching, grinding and mixing of coal, binding substance and organic wastes till preparation of homogeneous charge and its subsequent heating, at that the high-boiling products of pyrolysis of plastics wastes are used as binding substance, which are introduced into the charge in the amount of 15-20 % of general volume of charge, and heating of charge is realized in temperature interval from 250 to 1100 °C. The apparatus for production of coke from the non-coking ranks of coal comprises fireproof chamber for coking, heating flues, burners, facilities for charging of material, subjected to coking, facility for discharging of coke, also the apparatus contains heating container with charging door for charging of wastes of plastics, organic wastes and catalysts and armored conveyor for removing of undissolved residues from the mentioned container. The fireproof coking chamber is made in the form of vertical tower, in the walls of which the peripheric downward air flues and inner ascending to the smoke exhauster heating flues are made, in the bottom part of the mentioned tower the air and heating flues come to furnaces with burners, at that the gas collector is brought to the superior part of the mentioned chamber, and the bottom part of this tower is made convergent and equipped with inner control gate, through which the fireproof chamber is connected with blastphone-extinguisher. The invention provides for high quality of prepared coke and using of non-coking ranks of coal for coking.
