Abstract

The invention concerns a method and a device for removing sediments from a tank (28), in which liquid (62) is collected above the sediments; moreover the tank is accessible through an opening (38) existing in an upper covering or lid made with possibility of closing, which contains a transport facility (44) introduced into the tank through the opening and made with possibility of displacement into the tank and which has, at least, one liquid-jet nozzle (92, 94), and also a suction pickup assembly (98) capable of sucking the liquid and particles of sediments from the tank and a pump (58) connected with it. In order to loosen or to dissolve sediments and to draw off thereof together with the liquid at required concentration due to simple design solutions, in accordance with the invention, the pump (58) is located in the liquid (62) at a distance from the transport facility (44), the pump together with, at least, one nozzle and intake is connected to a liquid circulation circuit made with possibility of removal from it of liquid with particles of sediments, and the circulation circuit is equipped with a heating unit (66) and/or a measuring apparatus for setting pH value of liquid.
