Abstract

A process for the preparation of organic fertilizers of new generation with balanced content of trivalent chromium from wastes of leather production (sludge, hide cuttings) by the method of biological fermentation of wastes of leather production with addition of cuttings and other plant wastes with addition from 0.5 to 1.0 % - trivalent chromium depending on certain culture. After mixing of components compost mixture before loading to biofermentator must have organic mass humidity of 55-70 %, and the ratio of nitrogen and carbon in mixture must be 1:20-1:30, with oxygen content of 10-15°. Fermentation process is carried out for 8-12 days.
