Abstract
The present invention relates to a method to produce an enriched thermophilic compost through mill wastes composting by collecting thermophilic biomass samples from mill wastes; building a thermophilic microbial inoculant comprising of enzyme-producing bacteria, actinomycetes and fungi; processing a first thermophilic compost by way of fermentation producing to produce a fermented compost; preparing a thermophilic carrier by mixing a second thermophilic compost with zeolite and then combining the thermophilic carrier with the fermented compost; preparing an the enriched thermophilic compost by spraying the thermophilic microbial inoculant into the mixture from step through a 7-cycle enrichment process; and, drying the enriched thermophilic compost to a minimum moisture content, wherein, the enriched thermophilic compost contains substantially zero Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) discharge.
