Abstract
The invention relates to the neutralization of pesticides and chemical substances similar to them and it makes it possible to increase the efficiency of the decomposition of complex organic compounds, catching, neutralization and utilization of decomposition products, which are formed during combustion of pesticides and chemical substances similar to them. A method includes supply of pesticides and alkaline reagents in the plastic or paper container with mass relationship from 1:0.3 to 1:1 into the furnace. In the furnace a fluid bath is created from the fusion of alkaline reagents, which temperature is maintained at 800-1000 °C, and the organic part of the pesticides is burnt. From the furnace flue gases are supplied into the upper part of afterburner, where they are processed by the flows of the products of combustion of liquid or gaseous propellant, heated air and aerosol of alkaline solution directed from top to bottom. Then flue gases are forwarded for preliminary cleaning into the vortex apparatus, cleaning into the catalytic reactor, fine cleaning of flue gases in the bag-type filter and are directed into the flue. At inlet into the catalytic reactor and at outlet from it flue gases are processed by aerosol of alkaline solution. The slag, which is formed in the furnace, is poured into the slag chamber, which is preliminarily partially filled with dust, which is formed after preliminary cleaning of flue gases in the vortex apparatus, after cleaning of flue gases in the catalytic reactor and after fine cleaning of flue gases in the bag-type filter.
