Abstract

A method for the determination of corrosion stability of asphalt concrete includes preparation of samples by the method of compaction with soaking in air during one day, then strength of those is determined by method of loading till destruction in air and in water saturated condition. The process of water saturation is carried out in aggressive medium simultaneously with loading. Then by the ratio of time of loading tol destruction of the sample under effect of aggressive medium to time of loading to destruction of sample in air coefficient that characterizes corrosion stability is found.
