A method for repairing hypoplasia of the distal arch of aorta and coarctation of aorta in the newborns and the infants provides for maximal mobilization of the left carotid artery in the middle. The mobilized carotid artery is placed in parallel to the arch of aorta and cut longitudinally continuing the cut in the arch of aorta towards the middle of the left subclavian artery. Then the anastomosis is fashioning onto the posterior lip by suturing together the walls of the left carotid artery and the arch of aorta with non-interrupted suture using monofilament. The suture is fixed outside aorta, and the posterior lip of anastomosis is sutured. The anastomosis is terminated onto the left subclavian artery. The anterior lip of the anastomosis is tailored by suturing the left carotid artery with the arch of aorta. Two filaments of the posterior and anterior lips are tied up.
