Abstract

The main point of a method of laying an underwater pipeline pipeline, and of a unit for its implementation is in the proposition to make the head of the first inlet branch as two-section one, at that the first section is intended for centering the head and the second one û to provide flexibility of the inlet segment laying at curvilinear segments of the case. Different modifications of the method and design solutions for the unit are proposed, those are related to the choice of optimal shapes, the relations between the dimensions and the distance in the supports installation. Those inventions make it possible to improve fabricability and reliability and safety of laying due to provision of the uniform distribution of loads and to achievement of respective flexibility of laying the inlet part of the first branch.
