Abstract
A method for the purification of waste waters involves neutralization of acid waste waters with alkaline agent; three-stage biochemical purification (BCP) by active sludge with aeration, sedimentation at first and third stages and return of active sludge for the aeration; purification of nitrogen-containing waste waters (NWW) in the presence of orthophosphoric acid; purification of organics-containing waste waters (OWW) involving the first stage of averaging NWW, if necessary, neutralization with lime milk to aì of 6.5-8.5, sedimentation with taking the raw sludge aside, and clarified NWW to the second stage of averaging; repeated sedimentation with taking the raw sludge aside and clarified NWW to the aeration of three-stage BCP; domestic waste waters (DWW) purification which involves mixing DWW, withdrawal of a part of DWW for the third stage aeration of the three-stage BCP, and of the second part for biochemical purification of DWW by an active sludge with aeration, sedimentation and return of activated sludge for aeration, mixing all previously purified waste waters, after-purification and disinfection. As alkaline agent for neutralization of acid waste waters alkaline effluents of adipic acid production are used. OWW of the first stage of averaging are mixed with neutralized acid waste waters, and at the second stage of averaging they are mixed with nitrogen-containing waste waters and orthophosphoric acid. After sedimentation the clarified waste waters are directed to the aeration of the first stage of three-stage BCP; the second stage of three-stage BCP is carried out with sedimentation and return of activated sludge for aeration; a part of clarified waste waters after the second stage of three-stage BCP is withdrawn for mixing with DWW.
