Abstract

A valve, in particular, of a heater, has a housing (2) with an input joint (3) and an output joint (4), and between the input joint (3) and the output joint (4) there is a shutoff body with valve element (6) and the saddle (7) of the valve. Such a valve can operate irrespectively of direction of the flow. In the housing (2) of the valve, the housing (10) of the saddle is placed, it has the inlet channel (11), to one end of which the saddle (7) of the valve corresponds, and it has outlet channel (12); at that the position of the housing (10) of the saddle in the housing (2) of the valve can be varied, through rotation, between two positions; in the first one the inlet channel (11) is connected to the inlet joint (3) and the outlet channel (12) is connected to the outlet joint (4), and in the second position the inlet channel (11) is connected to the outlet joint (4) and the outlet channel (12) is connected to the inlet joint (3).
