Abstract

An intercity bus on VW Crafter chassis has a bonnet-type body, in which fins of base car chassis is used – a front bumper, a hood, left and right wings with lighting, air conditioning installed on the front of the roof of bus body, a front steerable axle and a rear driving axle, a luggage compartment in the rear part of the body, spare (emergency) doors located in the rear overhang just outside the arch of twin wheels of driving axle, a rear bumper, three-row arrangement of passenger compartment and passenger seats installed on the supports, which floor level is higher than the floor level of passage through the compartment, six double passenger seats placed along the left side, five single passenger seats installed outside the armhole of service (passenger) door along the left sidewall, and four single seats installed in front of the rear wall of the body, an emergency ventipane hatch located in the middle of the roof. The service (passenger) door located in front of the body are shifted in the direction of the arch of double wheel of driving axle, and an air conditioner is installed on the front of the roof of the body just behind the windshield.
