Abstract

The invention relates to the metallurgy and is designed for deoxidation of the steel being melted. A method for making aluminium deoxidizer consists weighting aluminium with cast iron by disposing the central blank in the mold and pouring thereof with a uniform layer of a given thickness of the second melted metal. As central blank preliminarily cast aluminium ingot is used of the predetermined weight and shape, the indicated aluminium ingot is placed with smaller base in the casting mold on punctuated supports with height equal to the predetermined thickness of the cast iron layer, the cover is disposed upwards on greater base of the said aluminium ingot preliminarily cast as per sizes thereof which depth is equal to the predetermined thickness of the cast iron layer, the liquid cast iron is poured in the casting mold as per height thereof at the moment of filling the casting slope with liquid cast iron per outline of cast iron cover, the shaped ingot of aluminium deoxidizer is cooled to solidification of the cast iron and the said is stretched out of the casting mold.
