Abstract

The technique for applying pancreatojejunoanastomosis implies anastomosing the pancreatic stump and the small intestine according to "end-to-end" type followed by invagination of the anastomosis into the lumen of the intestine and applying the sero-serous sutures. Prior to the invagination the mucosa of the intestinal area being anastomosed is removed and the area is everted. Then the intestinal mucosa is sewed to the pancreatic stump, the everted intestinal area is pulled onto the pancreatic stump and the sero-serous sutures are applied.
