Спосіб очищення відходячих газів виробництва сірки, включає неповне окислення сірководню з подальшою каталітичною доочисткою газу від сірковмісних сполук. Перед доочисткою газ неповного окислення сірководню направляється на каталітичний гідроліз для видалення сполук COS і CS2. Винахід відноситься до області очищення сірковмісних промислових газів.
