A device for metal working at continuous casting contains a voltage source, a well with an immersion container at the outlet, a crystallizer and an electrode. The electrode is connected to the voltage source and is located between the well and the crystallizer coaxially to the vent of well. It is electrically isolated from the jet of metal. The electrode is made in the form of two isolated from each other semi-rings connected to appropriate poles of the voltage source and located symmetrically above the immersion container.
