Abstract

PURPOSE:To hold the ink jet head in stable and maintain the printing characteristics of the head in a good state by a method wherein the ink jet head is held at two positions respectively and the electrical connection thereof is effected through these holding members. CONSTITUTION:The ink jet head 1 is held by the protruded section 10a of a head holder 10 at one terminal section 1a and is held by the holding member 12 at the other terminal section 1c. The head holder 10 and the holding member 12 are constituted with metal respectively and one terminal section 1a is grounded to a casing through the head holder 10 while the other terminal section 1c is connected to a lead terminal through the holding member 12 insulated from the head holder 10 and is connected further to an external terminal through a lead wire electrically.
