The invention relates to engineering of combustion engines and can be used in vehicles, agricultural and household machinery. A rotary internal combustion engine consists of a housing with a circular working chamber, two same rotors with gates placed at the outer surface thereof, an output shaft placed inside the rotors and a mechanism of interaction of the rotors and output shaft without use of a permanent kinematic connection between those. In each rotor openings are provided, one end of each opening is placed in front of the housing, and the other one in front of the output shaft.
