In the modern world, the demand for e-books - versions in electronic (digital) form - is constantly growing due to the convenience of reading, storage, transportation, the possibility of using multimedia and hypertext technologies, lower cost of production and distribution.

Such books can be read using computers, mobile phones or specialized (computerized) devices. Electronic (digital) books significantly expand users' access to them with the help of electronic libraries, reduce the cost of purchasing each specific copy of the book, and allow easy receipt and storage of the book.

However, e-books have a number of disadvantages. First, e-books are sometimes coded by the publisher to limit the scope of use. Secondly, an e-book is not a spontaneous purchase, which makes it difficult for new authors and small publishers to enter the market. Third, it is technically more difficult to prevent piracy. Fourthly, if the e-book is placed on an open resource, without appropriate software and hardware it is impossible to track the number of copies downloaded from such a resource. The disadvantage of this method is the need for the user to produce and purchase a full-fledged printed book, while the user actually needs a book on an electronic medium.

The useful model is based on the task of creating a system for providing access to an e-book using any medium convenient for the user by simply reading the OB code from an available material information medium that is cheap to manufacture, can be purchased anywhere, with simultaneous provision of access to data on the server, the software and hardware complex of which performs the task of saving the electronic (digital) book. An additional task is to ensure the uniqueness of each individual OV-code, and accordingly the uniqueness of each download of a digital book, for further accounting of downloads and sales.

OV-code is a matrix code (two-dimensional barcode) in which information, including text and graphics, is encrypted. The main advantage of the OV-code is easy recognition by 60 scanning equipment (including the camera of a mobile phone or other computerized device), which makes it possible to use it in trade, in production, in logistics.

The task is solved with the help of a system that provides for the presence of at least the following elements: a server for saving the book in electronic (digital) format; a web portal, through which access is made to the server on which the file with the book is stored in electronic (digital) format, and also a unique OB code is generated, which contains a unique resource locator, by which you can access the file with the book in electronic format (digital) format, by sending the appropriate command to the server; the computer's memory, where the OB code with a unique resource locator is loaded, which can be used to access the file with the book in electronic (digital) format on the server; a material information carrier for applying OV-codes on it; scanning equipment for reading the OV code; a processor for processing the OV code scanned by the camera, converting the OV code into a unified resource locator, which allows you to access the book in electronic (digital) format with the help of appropriate software and download it to the memory of a computerized device for further viewing using e-book viewing software.
