Додатково в сироватці крові хворого визначають поліморфізм генів метилентетрагідрофолатредуктази (MTHFR C677T), синтази оксиду азоту (eNOS T786C), вміст ендотеліну, С-кінцевого пропептиду колагену І типу (СІСР), оксипроліну, інтерлейкіну 6 (ІЛ-6), С-реактивного протеїну (СРП), гомоцистеїну. При гомозиготному носійстві 677-ТТ, 786-СС і рівнях ендотеліну >10 нг/мл, СІСР <102 нг/мл, оксипроліну >15 мкмоль/л, ІЛ-6 >10 нг/л, СРП >6 мг/л, гомоцистеїну >20 мкмоль/л прогнозують розвиток остеоартрозу.The method of predicting the development of osteoarthritis includes a clinical examination, radiography.
