Abstract

A device of ultrahigh pressure and temperature contains dies coaxially installed and secured by support rings with central depressions at the ends turned to each other, a coating made of tungsten (molybdenum) applied on the die surface. For the purpose of increase of service life of the device, the coating is equipped with an additional layer of more plastic metal under the temperatures of synthesis. For example, niobium, which is located between the layer of tungsten (molybdenum) and the die surface, with ratio of the thickness of outer layer to the thickness of inner layer equal to 5-10. A method of manufacturing the device of ultrahigh pressure and temperature is performed by application of coating from refractory metal on the die surface from hard alloy. For the purpose of increase of service life of the device, the coating, for example, from niobium and tungsten (molybdenum) is formed (or annealed after its forming) under the temperature not below 800 °C and not above 1250 °C.
