The useful model is based on the task of increasing the service life of the rubber bushings of the elastic coupling by eliminating the use of the specified bushings with a smoothly concave outer shape.

The problem is solved by the fact that in an elastic coupling, which contains two flanged half-couplings, connected to each other by fingers with rubber bushings installed on them, while the fingers are fixed at one end evenly around the flange of the driving half-coupling, and their rubber bushings are located in cylindrical in the flange holes of the driven half-coupling with a gradual reduction of the outer diameters towards the fixing of the fingers, according to the useful model, the new thing is that all the rubber bushings are made in the form of truncated paraboloids of a smoothly curved outer shape.

As a result of the contact interaction of the rubber bushings 4 in the form of truncated paraboloids with the side walls of the cylindrical holes 5 of the driven half-coupling 2 their smooth deformation occurs from the free ends to the attachment points of fingers З in the flange of the driving half-coupling 1.

The implementation of the rubber bushings of the elastic coupling with a smoothly curved outer shape while reducing their diameters in the direction of fixing the fingers will ensure an increase in their service life.
