Abstract

A field of application: agricultural machinery, in particular working elements of potato harvesting machines. A unit for transporting and cleaning tuberous roots is distinguished from the already known ones by the fact that the lower part of a hollow cleaner, which is shaped as a flattened ellipsoid of revolution, formed by the two arranged at different heights planes, shaped as horizontal rings, which are formed by round rods, fixed radially with gaps, on the surfaces of which straight-line blades, fixed to the upper end of a console drive shaft, arranged below, are mounted by four. The gaps between the round rods of the upper horizontal ring are larger than similar gaps between the round rods of the lower ring, the straight-line blades placed on the surface of the lower horizontal ring, are shifted by an angle of 90° as regards to the blades, located on the top ring, and the upper part of the console drive shaft has a fixed solid cone with the apex directed upwards.
