Abstract

The invention is directed to a container (1) comprising smoking articles. The container further comprises a cup shaped box (2) for the smoking articles (17); comprising a bottom wall, side walls and an opening. The container further comprises a lifting element correlated to at least one smoking article (17) for lifting the smoking article (17) of the bottom wall of the container. The lilting element (20) has an engaging portion (22), enlargeable with the outside upper end portion of the smoking article (17).

Description

The present invention relates to a container that contains smoking products and also includes a lifting element that corresponds to at least one smoking product and is intended to lift the smoking product.

Smoking products, as a rule, are distributed in containers with a hinged lid, made from a certain blank. In order to access the smoking products contained in the container, the consumer typically removes the transparent outer wrapper, opens the lid, and removes the portion of the inner wrapper that covers the upper ends of the smoking products. Generally, the upper end of the smoking article is the end of the smoking article that is inserted into the mouth. This is especially common if the smoking product includes a filter mouthpiece. When removing such a smoking product from the container, the consumer touches the end of the smoking product, which is inserted into the mouth.

Some consumers do not want to touch this mouth end of the filter, particularly if this mouth end of the smoking article includes a filter mouthpiece with a recess.

A smoking product having a filter mouthpiece with a recess is described, for example, in EP1299012.

In I5-A-4,949,841, a pack with a hinged lid is described, designed for easy removal of cigarettes placed inside. The cigarettes in said pack are wrapped in an inner wrapper which is attached, for example glued, to the bottom wall and back wall parts of the pack. When pulling the catch tab located on the front wall of the inner wrapper, a certain part of the lower wall of the inner wrapper rises, so that the first row of cigarettes also rises.

However, such an inner wrapper of such a pack requires significant changes in the inner wrapper blank compared to the known container for smoking products, and also requires significant changes in the packaging machine. In addition, the lifting part and the lifting front wall of the inner wrapper press against the rod end of the smoking product during lifting, which can damage the rod end.

Based on this, the purpose of the present invention is to create a container that facilitates the removal of smoking products and has high quality and cost-effective manufacturing.

The object of the present invention is achieved by providing a container containing smoking products, which includes a sleeve-like box for smoking products, which has a bottom wall, side walls and an opening, and the container also includes a lifting element that corresponds to at least one smoking product and is intended for lifting the smoking article from the bottom wall of the container, in which the lifting element has an engaging part, and in which the engaging part is designed to engage with the outer surface of the upper end part of the smoking article.

Since the engagement between the lifting element and the smoking article occurs at a certain point on the outer surface of the upper end part of the smoking article, the end part of the rod of the smoking article is not subjected to forces and thus cannot be damaged during the lifting movement. In addition, the consumer should not touch the end of the smoking product that is inserted into the mouth, as the lifting member may move the smoking product away from the bottom wall of the package enough for the top end of the smoking product to protrude above other smoking products contained in the container. This enables the user to easily grasp the protruding upper end of the raised smoking article by its side surfaces.

In addition, the construction of the lifting member of the present invention simplifies the manufacture of the container of the present invention, since such a lifting member can be easily incorporated into well-known manufacturing operations during the implementation of the container manufacturing process. Thus, the lifting element according to the present invention requires only minor changes in the manufacturing process of the known container and for this reason can be introduced with inexpensive changes in the known production line.

The engagement of the lifting element with the outer surface of the upper end part of the smoking article further ensures the small size and simple geometry of this lifting element. Such a lifting element as such has a low manufacturing cost.

In the context of this description, the terms "front", "back", "top", "bottom", "side", "top", "bottom" and other terms are used to define the relative positions of the constituent parts of the containers of the present invention when the container is in a vertical position with the lid on top. If the container has a hinged lid, the lid can be hinged to the rear of the container. The terms "left" and "right" are used to define the side walls of a container when viewed from the front in its vertical position.

When the container, which is in a vertical position, is open, the smoking products contained in the box can be removed from the upper end of the container.

The lower end part of the smoking product is the end part located closer to the bottom of the container. Accordingly, the upper end part represents the opposite end of the smoking product. If the smoking article includes a filter mouthpiece, the upper end of the smoking article is typically the filter end of the smoking article.

The term "longitudinal" means the direction from the bottom up or vice versa. The term "transverse" means a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction along the front wall, the rear wall, or one of the side walls. The mentioned lifting direction is essentially a longitudinal direction from the bottom wall of the container.

The term "hinge line" means the line around which the lid can be rotated to open the container.

The hinge line can be, for example, an assembly line or a fold line on the back wall of the container.

Alternatively, the hinge line may be a fold line or fold line on the material that connects the lower edge of the rear wall of the lid and the upper edge of the rear wall of the box. Such material can be, for example, a sticker permanently or removably attached to the back wall of the lid and the back wall of the box. In a preferred embodiment, the hinge line is located along the rear wall of the container at a level below the upper edge of the rear wall.

In a preferred embodiment, the smoking article is raised from the bottom of the package from about 595 to about 5095 lengths of the smoking article, and in a more preferred embodiment, from about 1095 to about 3095 lengths of the smoking article.

In a preferred embodiment, the lifting element is a part of a component part of an existing package, for example, similar to an inner wrapper, an inner frame, an insert, a pad or a wrapper or part of a blank intended for any component part of an existing package mentioned above.

According to a preferred option, at least one smoking product in the container has on its outer surface a shoulder in the form of a full ring or a part of a full ring, intended for engagement with the lifting element. This shoulder is a portion of the surface along the smoking article where the diameter of the smoking article changes in the direction from the end of the rod of the smoking article to the end of the smoking article that is inserted into the mouth. The rim can include a ring-shaped element made in the form of a protrusion, as well as a ring-shaped element made in the form of a clasp or a small reduction in the diameter of the smoking product.

Alternatively or in addition, the shoulder can be made in the form of an additional part that is attached to the smoking product and creates a part of the surface with which the engaging part of the lifting element can be engaged. In a preferred embodiment, the shoulder is completely circular so that the lifting element can be engaged with the smoking article anywhere around it. However, depending on the location of the smoking products in the container, the rim may also extend only partially around the smoking product. The shoulder provides a connection of the lifting element, which provides engagement due to abutment or engagement due to friction, so that the lifting member can reliably transmit forces in the direction of lifting to the shoulder of the smoking article to lift this smoking article.

In one of the variants of the implementation of the present invention, the rim of the smoking product is formed by the lower edge of the rim paper wrapped around the smoking product. Lining paper is generally used for all filter mouthpiece cigarettes or filter mouthpiece cigars. The lining paper is essentially wrapped around the filter part of the smoking product. However, smoking products that do not have a filter mouthpiece may also have a paper ring to alter the visual and tactile feel of one end of the smoking product. The engagement of the lifting member with the edge of the rim paper provides the advantage that this feature is already typically present in filter mouthpiece cigarettes that can be used to provide a lifting function. The filter mouthpiece cigarette of the present invention does not require any modification to engage the lifting member of the present invention. Thus, the manufacturing process of the smoking product does not have to be changed, and as a result the lifting function has low implementation costs.

In a preferred embodiment, the size of the lifting member is such that it extends from the opening of the sleeve box to a level below the bottom edge of the rim paper. This feature provides the advantage that only upward movement of the lifting member is required to lift the smoking article for reliable engagement of this lifting element with the edge of the rim paper.

According to another embodiment of the present invention, the lifting element is in contact with the outer surface of the upper end part of the smoking product only due to friction. Thus, adhesion occurs due to frictional forces. Any protrusions, edges or similar elements are not required to ensure the lifting of the smoking product from the bottom of the sleeve-like box by the lifting element. The present invention can also be applied to smoking articles which do not include rim paper or similar elements, but in a preferred embodiment only have a substantially cylindrical or oval outer surface without any protruding elements for abutment. Additional ridges, ridges, or ridges on the outer surface of the upper end portion of the smoking article may provide frictional engagement support. Also, the lifting element and/or the smoking article may have a certain area of the surface in which the coefficient of friction is increased compared to the rest of the surface of the smoking article or the lifting element.

The mentioned zone can be, for example, a rough or sticky surface. In a preferred embodiment, such lifting member interacts with the outer surface of the upper end portion of the smoking article only by friction by simultaneously interacting with at least two locations on the outer surface of the upper end portion of the smoking article, and in a more preferred embodiment, with two places located opposite each other around the outer surface of the upper end part of the smoking product.

In a preferred embodiment, the lifting element has an engaging portion in the form of a protrusion.

This projection can be designed to form a part that engages with the rim by abutting the smoking article. Alternatively, this projection may provide a normal force for engagement between the lifting member and the smoking article due to friction. This normal force from the protrusion to the smoking article can be applied to provide adhesion by abutment between the protrusion and the rim of the smoking article.

The normal force can be created due to the elastic properties of either the protrusion itself or the container, which due to elastic forces presses the lifting element towards the smoking products.

In one of the variants of the implementation, the mentioned protrusion is made in the form of a valve of the lifting element, folded along the line of bending of the lifting element. In this way, only a part of the previously flat workpiece is folded to form a lifting element, forming a protrusion. Bending elasticity can be applied to generate a normal force from the side of the valve towards the smoking article.

The valve may extend toward the smoking article, in particular, upward toward the smoking article. According to the preferred option, the valve is folded from the lifting member around the transverse line of the valve hinge. In a preferred embodiment, the valve additionally has at least one transverse engagement edge by which it engages with the smoking product. In a preferred embodiment, the valve is rectangular or trapezoidal in shape.

In one embodiment, the transverse line of the valve hinge is located from the lower end of the valve, so that the free part of the valve is directed upwards. In this preferred embodiment, the valve is prefolded toward the smoking article. In a preferred embodiment, the elastic bending force along the hinge line of the valve keeps the valve pressed toward the smoking products in the folded pack.

In an alternative embodiment, the transverse line of the valve hinge is located from the lower end of the valve, so that the free part of the valve is directed downward. In the latter case, the preferred embodiment valve is pre-folded at an angle greater than 90" so that the spring force pushes the valve away from the lifter and brings the valve into close contact with the smoking articles. Additionally, this feature provides the advantage that , that when a downward force is applied to the valve during the lifting of the smoking article, the valve is forced to deflect towards the smoking article, thus maintaining the grip. This has the other effect of allowing the lifting member to be pushed back to its original position. position while the smoking product remains in the raised position.

In one embodiment, the container includes an inner wrapper that covers the smoking products, and the inner wrapper includes a removable film designed to be removed so that the smoking products can be accessed. In this embodiment, the lifting element is attached to the inner surface of the removable film so that the lifting element can come into contact with the smoking products. In a preferred embodiment, the lifting member is in contact with the smoking articles at a level below the outer surface of the upper end portion of at least some of the smoking articles, grips and lifts them when the release film is removed. The upper front section of the inner wrapper is generally perforated to form a removable film designed to provide access to smoking products contained within the inner wrapper. This embodiment provides the advantage that the lifting element can be installed on the inner wrap before the inner wrap is cut. In particular, the lifting element is a hook-shaped tape, already folded before cutting the inner wrapper with the formation of the hooking part.

In another embodiment, the container includes an inner wrapper that covers the smoking products.

The lifting element comes into contact with the smoking products after removing the inner wrapper.

The upper front section of the inner wrapper is generally perforated to form a removable film intended for removal, gaining access to the smoking products contained in the inner wrapper. In a preferred embodiment, the release film is shaped such that the outer surface of the upper end portion of the smoking article can come into contact with the lifting member when the release film is removed.

Alternatively, the lifting element can be located inside the inner wrapper, for example, between a row of smoking products and the inner space of the inner wrapper, between two rows of smoking products.

In one of the implementation options, the lifting element is attached to the removable film. In such a design, removal of the release film automatically raises the lifting member so that at least one smoking article is raised and provides easy access to the consumer. The lifting element can be completely removed from the container together with the removable film when the smoking product is in the raised position.

The removable film can be separated from the lifting element when the specified maximum pulling force acting on the removable film is exceeded. Thus, the removable film can be removed separately from the container after lifting the lifting element together with the smoking product by removing the removable film. The lifting element can then remain in the pack and can then be used again for the next operation of lifting the smoking article while the release film is removed separately so as to provide access to the smoking articles.

In one embodiment, the lifting member has a second valve designed to engage with the sleeve-like box so that it forms a stop for the lifting member when the lifting member is raised to a specified height. Then the lifting element stops after carrying out the operation of lifting the smoking product to the specified position. In a preferred embodiment, the lifting member remains in this defined position without restricting the consumer's access to the smoking products.

For example, the lower edge of the inner frame can act as a stop that grips the second valve of the lifting element.

In another embodiment, the lifting element may have several valves located at different heights of the lifting element. In this way, several smoking articles can be raised to different heights, so that the individual smoking article is easily accessible to the consumer, and the arrangement of the raised smoking articles has an aesthetic appearance.

According to a preferred variant, the lifting element at least partially extends parallel to one of the walls of the sleeve-like box, and is guided by at least one adjacent wall of the box. This ensures that the lifting element remains in the correct position during the lifting process, and thus ensures proper grip of the smoking article on the outer surface of the upper end part of the smoking article, so that it can be reliably lifted from the sleeve-like box. The lifting element may be in physical contact with the sleeve-like box. For example, the lifting element is essentially the same width as the inner space of the sleeve-like box. Therefore, the lifting element can be tightly fitted to the side walls of the box and therefore can be reliably guided inside the box.

In a preferred embodiment, the container also includes an inner frame mounted within the box, wherein the inner frame extends above the upper edges of at least the front wall of the container box. The inner frame is visible to the consumer when the lid is open. The front wall of the inner frame may be printed with instructions that may be the same or different from the instructions printed on the front wall of the box. Alternatively or in addition, the front wall of the inner frame can be cut in a special way, for example to display a brand of consumer products. If necessary, the inner frame can also have a line of relaxation to facilitate the transfer of the container into a flat state.

In a preferred embodiment, the front wall of the inner frame has a cutout at its upper edge. This provides more convenient access to smoking products placed inside the container, without significantly reducing the surface area of the front wall of the inner frame

Containers according to the present invention can have the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped with right-angled longitudinal and right-angled transverse ribs. Alternatively, the container may have one or more rounded longitudinal ribs, rounded transverse ribs, chamfered longitudinal ribs, chamfered transverse ribs, or combinations thereof. For example, the container according to the present invention may include, without limitation: - one or two longitudinal rounded or bevelled ribs on the front wall and/or - one or two longitudinal rounded or bevelled ribs on the rear wall, - one or two transverse rounded or beveled ribs ribs on the front wall and/or - one or two transverse rounded or chamfered ribs on the rear wall, - one longitudinal rounded rib and one longitudinal chamfered rib on the front wall and/or - one transverse rounded rib and one transverse chamfered rib on the rear wall, - one or two transverse rounded or chamfered ribs on the front wall and one or two longitudinal rounded or chamfered ribs on the front wall, - two longitudinal rounded or chamfered ribs on the front side wall or two transverse rounded or chamfered ribs on the second side wall.

If the container has one or more rounded edges and is made from a flat blank, the blank preferably has three, four, five, six or seven cut or extruded lines to form the rounded edge in the folded container. These cut or extruded lines can be made either from the inside or outside of the container. In a preferred embodiment, the cut or embossed lines are spaced approximately 0.3 mm to 4 mm apart.

In a preferred embodiment, the distance between these extruded or cut lines depends on the thickness of the flat blank. In a preferred embodiment, the distance between the extruded or cut lines is from about 0.5 to about 4 thicknesses of the flat blank.

If the container has one or more chamfered ribs, then preferably the one or more chamfered ribs have a width of from about 17 mm to about 10 mm, and more preferably from about 2 mm to about 6 mm. Alternatively, the container may have a double bevel made by three parallel cut lines or extruded lines that are spaced apart to form two different bevels on the edges of the container.

Alternatively, the container may not have a rectangular cross-section, but, for example, a polygonal cross-section, such as a triangular, quadrangular or hexagonal cross-section, or an oval, semi-oval, round or semi-circular cross-section.

If the container has a chamfered edge and is made from a flat blank, then this chamfer can be made by two parallel, cut or extruded lines on the flat blank. The cut or extruded lines may be symmetrically arranged with respect to the rib between the first wall and the second wall. Alternatively, these cut lines or extruded lines may be located asymmetrically with respect to the rib between the first wall and the second wall, such that the bevel extends further into the first wall of the container than into the second wall of the container.

The container may be made of any acceptable material, including, but not limited to, cardboard, sticky paper, plastic, metal, or combinations thereof. In a preferred embodiment, the paperboard has a specific gravity of from about 100 g/m2 to about 350 g/m".

In a preferred embodiment, the containers of the present invention can be used to package smoking products, including, but not limited to, conventional cigarettes that are smoked from the chewing end, cigars or cigarillos, heated smoking products that include a combustible a fuel cell, or heat source, and an aerosol-forming substrate (for example, cigarettes described in O5-A-4,714,082), as well as smoking products for use in electric smoking systems (for example, cigarettes described in Sh5-A-5,692,525).

By appropriately selecting the dimensions, the containers of the present invention can be made to accommodate different total quantities of smoking articles or to have different arrangements of smoking articles. For example, by appropriate selection of their dimensions, the containers of the present invention can be made to accommodate a total of ten to thirty smoking products.

Containers according to this invention can accommodate one, two, three, four or five individual packages of smoking products. These individual packages may be located substantially parallel to the front wall and rear wall or substantially perpendicular to the front wall and rear wall.

Inside the package, smoking products can be arranged according to different schemes depending on the total number of these smoking products, the size of the smoking products or the shape of the cross section of the container.

For example, smoking products can be placed in a package in one row of five, six, seven, eight, nine or ten pieces. Alternatively, the smoking products may be arranged in two or more rows. These two or more rows may contain the same number of smoking products. For example, the smoking products can be arranged in the following configurations, two rows of five, six, seven, eight, nine or ten pieces, three rows of five, six, seven, eight, nine or ten pieces , or four rows of four, five, six or seven pieces.

Alternatively, these two or more rows may contain at least two rows that contain different amounts of smoking articles. For example, smoking products can be arranged in the following configurations, a row of five and a row of six pieces (configuration 5-6); a row of six and a row of seven pieces (configuration 6-7); a row of seven and a row of eight pieces (configuration 7-8); the middle row of five and two outer rows of six pieces (configuration 6-5-6); middle row of five and two outer rows of seven pieces (7-5-7 configuration); the middle row of six and two outer rows of five (configuration 5-6-5); middle row of six and two outer rows of seven pieces (configuration 7-6-7), middle row of seven and two outer rows of six pieces (configuration 6-7-6); a middle row of nine and two outer rows of eight pieces (8-9-8 configuration); or a middle row of six, one outer row of five, and one outer row of seven (5-6-7 configuration).

The containers of the present invention may contain smoking products of the same type or brand or of different types or brands. In addition, smoking articles without a filter mouthpiece as well as smoking articles with different filter mouthpieces can be accommodated, as well as smoking articles of various lengths (e.g., from about 40 mm to about 180 mm) and diameters (e.g., from about 4 mm to about 9 mm). In addition, smoking products can differ in strength of taste, resistance to absorption and cumulative intake of dispersed substances. In cases where the container contains several packages, each package within the same container may contain the same or different types of smoking products, as indicated above.

In a preferred embodiment, the dimensions of the container are adapted to the length of the smoking articles and the layout of the smoking articles. As a rule, the external dimensions of the container are approximately 0.5-5 mm larger than the dimensions of the package of smoking products placed inside the container.

In a preferred embodiment, the containers of the present invention have a height of from about 60 mm to about 150 mm, and in a more preferred embodiment, a height of from about 70 mm to about 125 mm, the height being measured from the top wall to the bottom wall container

In a preferred embodiment, the containers of the present invention have a width of from about 12 mm to about 150 mm, and in a more preferred embodiment, a width of from about 70 mm to about 125 mm, the width being measured from the first side wall to the second side wall side wall of the container.

In a preferred embodiment, the containers of the present invention have a thickness of from about 6 mm to about 100 mm, and in a more preferred embodiment, a thickness of from about 12 mm to about 25 mm, the thickness being measured from the front wall to the back wall container (on which the hinge between the box and the lid is located).

In a preferred embodiment, the container height to container thickness ratio is from about 0.3/1 to about 10/1, in a more preferred embodiment from about 2/1 to about 8/1, and in an embodiment, which is given the greatest preference - from about 3/1 to 5/1.

In a preferred embodiment, the ratio of container width to container thickness is from about 1/1 to about 10/1, in a more preferred embodiment from about 2/1 to about 8/1, and in an embodiment that is the biggest advantage is from about 2/1 to 3/1.

In a preferred embodiment, the ratio of the height of the rear wall of the container lid to the height of the rear wall of the container is from about 0/1 (the hinge is located on the upper edge of the container) to about 1/1, in a more preferred embodiment from about 1/ 5 to about 1/10, and in the most preferred embodiment, from about 1/6 to about 1/8.

In a preferred embodiment, the ratio of the height of the front wall of the container lid to the height of the front wall of the container is from about 1/0 (the lid completely covers the front wall) to about 1/10, in a more preferred embodiment from about 1/1 to about 1/5, and according to the most preferred option - from about 1/2 to 1/3.

The exterior surfaces, interior surfaces, or both exterior and interior surfaces of the containers of the present invention may be printed, embossed, or indented or otherwise decorated with manufacturer or brand logos, trademarks, advertising slogans, or other consumer information and instructions. . Alternatively or additionally, the exterior surfaces, interior surfaces, or both exterior and interior surfaces of containers of the present invention may be at least partially coated with varnish, metallization, holograms, luminescent material, or any other materials that alter the feel, smell, or appearance of the container. .

In the event that the inner body of the container of the present invention accommodates one or more packages of smoking products, in a preferred embodiment, the smoking products are wrapped in an inner wrapper made of, for example, metal foil or metallized paper.

If a container contains smoking products, the container may also include receptacles for waste (such as ash or butts) or other consumer products such as matches, lighters, fire extinguishers, breath fresheners or electronics. Other consumer products may be attached to the outside of the container, placed inside the container together with the smoking products, in a separate compartment of the container, or by combinations of these methods.

The containers of the present invention, once filled, may be shrink-wrapped or otherwise wrapped in a transparent polymeric film, such as high or low density polyethylene, polypropylene, oriented polypropylene, polyvinylidene chloride, cellulose film, or combinations thereof in a conventional manner. If the containers of the present invention have an outer wrapper, the outer wrapper may include a tear tape. In a preferred embodiment, this tear tape is located around the container below the lower edge of the front wall of the lid so that when the tear tape is removed, the lid is free to rotate about the first hinge line. Alternatively or in addition, a second tear strip may be provided around the container at a level above the lid, so that after removal of the tear strip the lid is free to rotate around the second hinge line. Alternatively, the tear strip may be located around the container in a longitudinal direction.

The containers of this application also include so-called soft packs, in which the sleeve-like box is made of a material that has a lower bending strength or thickness compared to containers made of cardboard or similar materials. Unlike them, the lifting element is brought into reliable contact with the smoking products during the lifting operation, when the soft pack is densely filled with smoking products.

The lifting element can be made of any material capable of providing sufficient strength for adhesion to smoking products. In particular, when the lifting element includes a valve, the material in the area of the valve must provide sufficient strength to tightly grip the smoking article during lifting operations. The lifting element can be made of paper, cardboard, as well as polymer material.

The attached figures represent a part of the description intended to explain the principles of the present invention.

In Fig. 1 shows a sectional view of the container 1 according to the first embodiment of the present invention. The container 1 includes a sleeve-like box 2 and a lid 3, connected along the hinge line 4. The lid C can be deflected along the hinge line 4 to the open position (Fig. 2). The sleeve-like box 2 includes the front wall 5 of the box, the right side wall of the box, the left side wall of the box, the bottom wall 8 of the box, and the back wall 9 of the box, which is adjacent to the hinge line 4. Cover C includes the front wall 10 of the cover, the right side lid wall, left side lid wall, lid top wall 13 and lid rear wall 14 adjacent to hinge line 4. The container 1 includes an inner frame 15 attached to the inner surface of the front wall 5 of the box, the right side wall of the box and the left side wall of the box so as to protrude outward parallel to the above-mentioned box walls. The inner frame 15 contacts the lid C in the closed state, so that the lid C remains securely closed and the contents of the container 1 protected. The inner frame 15 includes a cutout 16 that provides access to the contents of the box 2.

The box 2 contains a wrapped package of smoking products 17 located in an inner wrapper 18. As a rule, this inner wrapper 18 is made of metallized paper. The inner wrapper 18 is glued around the smoking articles 17. The upper front section of the inner wrapper 18 forms a removable film 19, made with the possibility of removal to gain access to the smoking articles 17 contained in the inner wrapper 18. For this, the inner wrapper 13 is made perforated so that the removable film 19 can be removed by pulling.

Between the inner frame 15, respectively, the front wall 5 of the box and the inner wrapper 18, there is a lifting element 20 made in the form of an insert. Access to the lifting element 20 can be made from the side of the front wall through the cutout 16 in the inner frame 15.

In Fig. 2 shows the state of the container according to the first embodiment of the present invention, in which the removable film 19 is removed, and the lifting element 20 is raised, so that the smoking products 17 are raised.

The box 2 is usually tightly fitted around the package of smoking products 17. Thus, it is difficult to remove the smoking product 17 by directly grasping it. In particular, the filter mouthpiece or similar element located at the upper end of the smoking article 17 should be adapted for easy removal. This is especially important for smoking products with filter mouthpieces with a recess. However, according to this invention, the smoking products 17 are not taken out of the box 2 directly, but are first lifted using the lifting element 20.

The lifting element 20 grips at least one smoking product 17 and lifts the smoking products 17 by moving the lifting element 20, as shown in Fig. 2. In this case, the lifting member includes a hook that catches the upper end of the smoking articles 17. When the lifting member 20 is raised to a certain height, it can be removed. Some smoking articles 17 are raised and can be easily removed in a convenient manner and without touching the end of the filter part.

Three rows of smoking products 17 are located between the front wall 5 of the box and the back wall 9 of the box.

Cover Z in the closed state is located so that the front wall 10 of the cover adjoins the front wall 5 of the box. The inner frame 15 is attached to the inner surface of the front wall 5 of the box, in particular, glued to it.

Smoking products 17 are wrapped in an inner wrapper 18, in which perforation holes 21 are made, which make it possible to remove the removable film 19 of the inner wrapper 18. Between the inner frame 15, respectively, the front wall 5 of the box and the first row of smoking products 17, there is a lifting element 20, which has a valve 22, which extends upwards towards the smoking products 17.

The smoking article 17 includes a rim paper 23 located on the outer surface of the upper end portion of the smoking article 17. The rim paper 23 forms a small edge 24 or annular projection above the front of the smoking article 17, which is, in particular, a cigarette paper 25.

Perforations 21 which determine the height of film 19 are preferably positioned so that they are at least below the sum of the length 101 of the rim paper, the allowance 102 and the length 103 of the riser valve as measured from the top end of the smoking article 17 In a preferred embodiment, the length 103 of the lifter valve is 4 mm and the allowance 102 is 4 mm. The length of the rim paper 101 is, for example, 32 mm.

When the release film 19 is removed, the valve 22 of the lifting element 20 is in contact with the smoking product 17 below the edge 24 of the rim paper 23. Tight contact of the valve 22 occurs when this valve 22 is folded along the fold line 26, and the elasticity characteristic of the material of the lifting element, creates a certain force on the valve 22 in the direction of the smoking product 17. Now a certain pressure acts on the upper part 27 of the lifting element 20, and the lifting element 20 moves due to frictional forces upwards.

After moving up a certain distance in height, the lifting element 20 catches the edge 24 of the rim paper 23 with its valve 22.

In fig. 3 shows an enlarged view of the coupling between the valve 22 of the lifting element 20 and the edge 24 of the rim paper 23. In this variant, the implementation of the coupling is possible because the thickness of the rim paper 23, which forms the edge 24, is sufficient for the coupling between the valve 22 of the lifting element and the smoking products 17. This engagement is supported by the elastic force in the bend 26 and the force applied by the consumer to the upper part 27 of the lifting member 20. When this force is applied to the upper part 27 of the lifting member 20, it can come into contact with the upper part of the smoking article 17.

After that, as shown in Fig. 2, the lifting element 20 is raised further, lifting the smoking product 17 so that it protrudes beyond the opening of the box 2. Now the smoking product 17 can be easily removed. If the lifting element 20 is moved further up, then the lifting element 20 can be removed from the container

In Fig. 4 shows the second embodiment of the present invention, which mainly differs from the first embodiment in that the fastening elements 28 are provided, which fix the lifting element 20, made in the form of an insert, on the removable film 19. In addition, to maintain the coupling between the valve 22 and edge 24 of the rim paper 23, the perforation holes 21 of the removable film 19 are now located in close proximity above the valve 22.

Thus, when the consumer lifts the release film 19, the perforations 21 are broken, and the lifting member 20 rises together with the release film 19. The lifting member 20 with its valve 22 grips the edge 24 of the rim paper 23 and lifts at least one smoking article 17 to the position shown in Fig. 4, so it can be easily reached.

The removable film 19 can be lifted by the consumer before removing the lifting element 20 from the box 2, so that the lifting element 20 and the removable film 19 can be disposed of together.

In Fig. 5 shows a third embodiment of the container 1 according to the present invention. The lifting element 20, made in the form of an insert, in addition includes at least one second valve 29, folded along the second fold line 30, located below the fold line 26. The second valve 29 extends towards the front wall 5 of the box.

When the lifting element 20 is fully raised, as shown in Fig. 5, the second valve 29 engages the container 1 and provides a stop that prevents the lifting element 20 from being completely removed from the container 1. This enables the lifting element 20 to be used repeatedly, i.e. after removing the first smoking article 17, the lifting element 20 the element 20 can again be lowered together with the raised smoking articles 17 that remain. During the next removal operation, the second smoking article 17 can be lifted together with the lifting element 20. In a preferred embodiment, the second valve 29 in the raised position engages the lower edge of the inner frame 15, and the lifting element 20 is located flush with the upper edge of the inner frame 15.

The characteristic properties of the second embodiment of the present invention, shown in Fig. 4, can be combined with the third embodiment shown in Fig. 5. Thus, the lifting element 20, which includes at least the valve 22, as well as the second valve 29, is attached with the use of fastening elements 28 to the removable film 19. For this combination, preference is given to the variant, according to which the fastening elements 28 are selected so that the removable film 19 is separated from the lifting element 20 when the determined maximum pulling force on the removable film 19 is exceeded. This is the case when the second valve 29 catches the lower edge of the inner frame 15.

Thus, using only one operation, i.e. pulling out the removable film 19, the container 1 is transferred to the configuration shown in Fig. 5, in which the removable film 19 is already separated from the lifting element 20.

In Fig. 6 shows the fourth embodiment of the present invention, in which the lifting element 20, made in the form of an insert, is located between two rows of smoking products 17 inside a package of smoking products 17 contained in an inner wrapper 18. When the lid of the container 1 is open, the removable film 19 can be is removed, and the consumer can reach the tab 31 of the lifting element 20. Then the consumer lifts the tab 31, thus enabling the connection of the valve 22 of the lifting element 20 with the smoking product 17, in particular, along the edge 24 of the rim paper 23. After that, the smoking products 17 are lifted before removing the lifting element 20 from the box 2. Thus, the consumer can easily reach the smoking products 17 from the second row of the box 2.

In the embodiment shown in Fig. 6, it is also possible to attach the tongue 31 using fasteners such as glue to the removable film 19 of the inner wrapper 18. When the removable film 19 is pulled and removed, the lifting element 20 rises and grips the smoking product 17 to perform the above-mentioned function. Thus, using only one operation, the removable film 19 can be removed and the smoking products 17 from the second row can be raised so that the consumer can reach them in a convenient way.

In Fig. 7 shows the fifth embodiment according to this application, in which the lifting element 20 is a hook-shaped tape 33 attached to the inner surface of the inner wrapper 18, in particular, in the area of the removable film 19. This hook-shaped tape 33 is attached to the material of the inner wrapper 18, including the release film 19. The inner wrapper 18 is cut in a shape suitable for wrapping the smoking products and forming the release film 19. The hook-like tape 33 has a flap 22 which, according to the preferred variant, is already folded before the inner wrapper 18 is cut from the material. When the cover C of the container 1 is open, the removable film 19 can be removed. During the removal of the removable film 19, the lifting element 20, made in the form of a hook-shaped tape 33, catches the edge 24 of the rim paper 23 of the smoking product 17. The hook-shaped tape lifts the smoking product 17 until the removable film 19 together with the hook-shaped tape 33 is completely removed. In this way, at least one smoking article 17 can be easily removed.

In fig. 8-14 show several embodiments of lifting elements according to the present invention, made in the form of inserts.

In fig. 8 shows the lifting element 20 as it can be used in the first and second embodiments shown in Figs. 1-4. The lifting member 20 has a flap 22 that extends at least partially along the lower edge of the lifting member 20. This lifting member is a two-dimensional blank and has a fold line 26 that may be partially perforated to facilitate assembly along it. Before inserting the lifting element 20 into the container 1, the valve 22 is folded upwards along the fold line 26. Thus, the lifting element 20 shown in Fig. 8, can be adapted to raise the three central smoking articles 17 from the first row of smoking articles 17, while the two smoking articles 17 on the left side and the two smoking articles 17 on the right side are not lifted.

For asymmetric lifting of smoking products 17, the blank shown in fig. 9, for the execution of the lifting element 20. The lifting element 20 has a valve 22 with a fold line 26 and a slot 32 on one side from below. Also, the lifting element 20 has a tab 31, which is located on the upper edge of the lifting element and can be either attached to the removable film 19, or used to ensure easy capture of the lifting element 20 and its lifting.

In Fig. 14 shows a blank for the lifting element 20 according to another embodiment of the present invention. This blank has a fold line 26 and a slot 32 within the blank that extends from the fold line 26.

Thus, when the billet is folded along the fold line 26, the flap 22 is bent outward from the top of the billet, and thus protrudes toward the smoking articles 17 to engage with those smoking articles 17. The billet is folded along the fold line 26 so that the lower portion of the billet comes into contact with the upper part of the blank to form the lifting member 20. Alternatively, the fold line 26 does not extend across the entire width of the lifting member 20, but only through the valve 22. In Fig. 15 shows the inner wrapper 18 for use in the fifth embodiment of the present invention. In this inner wrapper 18, perforation holes 21 are made, which simplify the removal of the removable film 19. Also, the lifting element 20, made in the form of a hook-shaped tape 33, is attached to the inner wrapper 18 during its manufacture, so that the tape extends through the area of the removable film 19. Thus, when the inner wrapper 13 is wrapped around the package of smoking products 17 and installed inside the container 1, the configuration shown in Fig. 7. Since the hook-shaped tape 33 is attached during the manufacturing process of the inner wrapper 18, only minor changes need to be made in the known manufacturing process. In a preferred embodiment, the lifting member 20 is made of a material that has sufficient strength to provide the valve 22 with proper engagement with the smoking products 17. Based on this, for example, paper, cardboard and polymeric materials can be used.

In addition, the characteristic properties of the described lifting elements 20 can be combined: for example, a tab 31 can be made on the lifting elements 20 mentioned above.

The second valve 29 can be made anywhere along the width of the lifting element 20. It is also possible for the lifting element 20 to have a greater height, so that the upper part 27 provides the consumer with convenient access. The height of the lifting element 20 is limited only by the upper edge of the box 2 of the container 1.

According to the preferred option, the valves have a height of 3-4 mm. In a preferred embodiment, the fold lines of the valves are transverse.

In fig. 16 shows another embodiment of the lifting element 20 according to the present invention, which can simultaneously interact with the outer surface of the upper end of the smoking article 17 in two places.

The lifting element 20 has two protrusions 22 that contribute to increasing the friction between the outer surface of the upper end of the smoking article 17 and the lifting element 20. For example, the lifting element 20 is a part of the lid of a container with a hinged lid, for example, a valve that traps dust. In use, the lifting member 20, as shown in Fig. 16, can be easily separated from the workpiece, for example, by tearing along a weakening line similar to the line of perforation holes. Then the cutout in the lifting element 20 is placed on top of the outer surface of the upper end of the smoking product 17 on both sides, so that this cutout acts as a clamp. The two protrusions 22 create sufficient friction between the lifting element 20 and the smoking product 17 to lift the smoking product 17 when the lifting element is pulled up.

Alternatively to being made in the form of a part of the container blank, the insert can be made in the form of a lifting element 20 with a cutout for which the smoking product 17 can be lifted by hooking the smoking product 17 from two sides of the outer surface of the upper end of the smoking product 17.

Claims (15)

1. A container (1) containing smoking products, which includes a sleeve-like box (2) for smoking products (17), which has a bottom wall, side walls and an opening, and includes a lifting element that corresponds to at least one smoking product (17) and intended for lifting the smoking product (17) from the lower wall of the container, which is characterized in that the lifting element (20) has an engaging part (22) designed to engage with the outer surface of the upper end part of the smoking product (17). 2. The container according to claim 1, which is characterized by the fact that the smoking product (17) has a ring-shaped shoulder (24) on its cylindrical outer surface, intended for engagement with the lifting element (20). 3.
