Abstract
The invention relates to domestic water treatment. The water treatment method comprises cooling water for the first time in a temperature-controlled tank by decreasing the temperature of the water in said container to a value equal to or greater than at a rate of 0.1-0.3 °C/minute and subsequently freezing the water at a rate of i 0.05-0.1 °C/minute to a temperature equal to or greater than so that the pure water with heavy water admixtures is fully crystallised and a liquid brine with the admixtures is formed. Then, the brine is drained, the ice is heated by; gradually increasing the temperature to a value equal to or less than at a rate of 0.16-0.18 °C/minute and is kept in those conditions until it is totally melted. For the second time, the water is cooled at a rate of 0.1-0.3 °C/minute to a temperature equal to or greater than and the heavy water is kept in those conditions until it is fully crystallized. The treated water is drained via a filter. A device for water treatment comprises a housing provided with a temperature-controlled working container that has a cover and an inclined bottom with a hole for draining water, a thermoelectric module for freezing water and melting ice, which module is provided with a control unit, a consumer tank for receiving the tretaed melt water and a tank for receiving water with admixtures and a high deuterium content. The device comprises pipes with a water drainage control means, which are connected to the drain hole in the inclined bottom of the working tank. The pipes are additionally interconnected by a pipe with a fine water filter.
