Abstract
The invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, in particular to a method for forming a coating on friction surfaces, and can be used for forming a wear-resistant coating in friction assemblies of hydraulic, precision and mechanical systems, gears and chain drives, and systems with circulating lubricant used in the automotive and other branches of industry. According to the method, a substance forming an antifriction coating is prepared, said substance being in the form of a pre-ground composition of natural minerals and comprising components with the following ratio, mass%: karpinskyite 40-60, clinochlore 10-30, aleurolite 20-50. Then, said substance is mixed with technical-grade oil, and a modifier in the form of fullerene soot in an amount of 0.3-0.8 % of the mass of the composition of natural minerals is introduced into the resultant mixture. Thereupon, the mixture is arranged between the friction surfaces so as to form a coating. The technical result consists in reducing the abrasive action on friction surfaces and improving the lubricant retention.
