使用本新型氣密式食品容器保存食品或其他物品時,使用上蓋20密合於本體10的開口13,再將拉環式透氣閥40向下推至密封位置(見第4圖),拉環式透氣閥40的密封片43恰好可以完全的密封住穿孔21,進而使得上蓋20和本體10之間保持氣密狀態,作為本新型的較佳實施例構造,其中上蓋20的頂面的穿孔21具有一魚眼孔211的結構(見第4圖),當拉環式透氣閥40向下推至密封位置時,密封片43可以沉入魚眼孔211之中,使得密封片43的頂面可以和上蓋20的頂面齊平,除了可以避免密封片43裸露而誤觸,還具有美觀的效果;在使用者欲開啟上蓋20(意指將上蓋20和本體10分離),可以先以手指勾住拉環式透氣閥40的拉環41,然後將拉環式透氣閥40向上拉,就能先將密封片43向上移動離開穿孔21,而本體內部的氣體就能通過柱栓42的排氣溝422排出本體10內的密閉空間(見第5圖),解除上蓋20和本體10之間的氣密狀態,柱栓42的底端的倒鉤421或環形肋也會卡住上蓋20的穿孔21,使用者可以通過拉扯拉環式透氣閥40的方式順利地將上蓋20打開。
