珊瑚對於生長條件的需求極為嚴格,必需有足夠的光照、穩定的溫度、充分的水流及良好的水質,且需維持生態平衡等。目前台灣市場珊瑚養殖場大多採用經驗為主的傳統養殖技術,缺乏科學方法的加速生長,導致無法提供最適合的生態養殖缸系統。令中華民國發明專利申請案第93118194號揭示一種珊瑚與珊瑚礁生物大量繁殖養殖的系統與方法,其係一種可進行珊瑚與珊瑚礁生物大量繁殖養殖生產,固然具有高度經濟、水族、漁業、保育與教育價值之設計,但在仿生態養殖及以較低建設成本以達到商業化量產上仍有很多改良空間。 Corals have strict requirements for growing conditions, and must have sufficient light, stable temperature, adequate water flow and good water quality, and maintain ecological balance.
