Absorbent articles

The present invention relates to absorbent articles.

In the past, in disposable diapers and other absorbent articles, it is known that a central elastic member such as a thread rubber that stretches in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article is provided in a stretched state in the central portion of the width direction of the absorbent article (for example, refer to Patent Document 1).

The absorbent article mentioned above is bent from both side ends of the waist region in the width direction toward the crotch region, and the elastic member that crosses the absorbent body in the width direction of the absorbent article is set to have a smaller stretch stress than the elastic member in the center, so that the fit of the crotch region is improved to prevent leakage. However, since the stress of the elastic member that crosses the absorbent body is weak, the fit of the buttocks is reduced, and there is a concern that the wearing feeling will be worse.

The present invention is made in view of the above-mentioned previous problems, and its purpose is to provide an absorbent article that improves the fit of at least the lower abdomen or buttocks while maintaining the fit of the crotch portion by the central elastic member, and also improves the appearance when worn.

The main invention for achieving the above-mentioned purpose is an absorbent article, which has a longitudinal direction, a width direction and a thickness direction that intersect each other in the unfolded state and the stretched state, and has: an outer body, which has a waist region and a crotch region; and an absorbent body, which has an absorbent body arranged on the skin side of the thickness direction of the outer body at least in the crotch region, and the absorbent article is characterized in that the waist region has: a front waist region located on one end side of the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body The front waist region and the rear waist region are respectively provided with a joint portion that joins a pair of side ends of the front waist region and a pair of side ends of the rear waist region, and have a first elastic region that is arranged on the non-skin side in the thickness direction closer to the absorbent body, and is arranged in the central portion in the width direction of the absorbent article along the length direction of the absorbent body, and the first elastic region is The absorbent article is formed by all elastic members arranged in the middle of the width direction of the absorbent article along the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body, wherein the first elastic region is a region having a certain width from one end to the other end of the elastic member in the longitudinal direction, and further comprises a second elastic region which is located inwardly of at least one of the joints of the front waist region and the rear waist region in the longitudinal direction and in the middle of the absorbent article in the longitudinal direction. According to the present invention, an absorbent article can be provided that improves the fit of at least the lower abdomen or buttocks while maintaining the fit of the crotch portion by the central elastic member, and also improves the appearance when worn.

Based on the descriptions in this manual and the attached drawings, you should at least understand the following matters.

An absorbent article has a longitudinal direction, a width direction and a thickness direction that intersect each other in an unfolded state and an extended state, and comprises: an outer body having a waist region and a crotch region; and an absorbent body having an absorbent body disposed on the skin side of the thickness direction of the outer body at least in the crotch region, wherein the absorbent article is characterized in that the waist region has a front waist region located on one end side of the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body, and a rear waist region located on the other end side of the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body, wherein the front waist region and the rear waist region respectively have a joint portion that joins a pair of side end portions of the front waist region and a pair of side end portions of the rear waist region, and a first elastic region disposed on the skin side of the absorbent body. The absorbent body is closer to the non-skin side in the thickness direction, and is arranged along the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body in the central part in the width direction of the absorbent article. It also has a second elastic region, which is closer to the inner side in the longitudinal direction than at least one of the joints of the front waist region and the rear waist region, and is arranged along the width direction more outward than the central line in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article. When the first elastic region and its extended region are used as the first stress region, and the second elastic region and its extended region are used as the second stress region, in the intersection region where the first stress region and the second stress region intersect, the length of the intersection region in the width direction is shorter than the length of the intersection region in the longitudinal direction.

According to such an absorbent article, the first elastic region is a region where tension acts in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article, and in the stretched state, tension acts in the longitudinal direction even in the first elastic region and its extended region. Moreover, the second elastic region is a region where tension acts in the width direction, and in the stretched state, tension acts in the width direction even in the second elastic region and its extended region. In the intersection region where the first stress region and the second stress region intersect, tension acts in the longitudinal direction outward and tension acts in the width direction outward when the article is worn. At this time, if the length of the cross region in the width direction (that is, the length of the first elastic region or its extended region in the width direction) is longer than the length of the cross region in the length direction (that is, the length of the second elastic region in the length direction), although it is easy to apply force to the cross region in the width direction, the force is dispersed and not easy to apply to the central part of the cross region. However, if the length of the cross region in the width direction is shorter than the length in the length direction, the force to the width direction is easy to act on the central part of the cross region. Thereby, while maintaining the fit of the crotch portion caused by the expansion and contraction of the first elastic region, the fit of the second elastic region can also be improved, and it is easy to move. Furthermore, since the force acts on the central part of the cross region, the cross region will not be enlarged, and the appearance when worn is also improved. Furthermore, even if the first elastic region and the second elastic region are intersecting regions of extension regions that do not intersect, the same effect can be obtained by the tension acting in the length direction of the extension region of the first elastic region and the tension acting in the width direction of the extension region of the second elastic region as described above.

In such an absorbent article, it is desirable that the first elastic region overlaps with at least one of the front waist region and the rear waist region when viewed in the thickness direction.

According to such an absorbent article, the first elastic region that pulls up the crotch area extends to the waist area, and the entire crotch area is pulled up to improve the fit. By pulling up the crotch area, it is easy to eliminate the enlargement of the absorbent body, and the appearance when worn also becomes better.

In such an absorbent article, the second elastic region is provided across the entire width direction of the absorbent body, and it is desirable that the second elastic region intersects with the first elastic region.

According to such an absorbent article, the second elastic region can easily exert a force in the width direction on the absorbent body, and the fit of the second elastic region can be maintained. In addition, by intersecting the second elastic region with the first elastic region, the tension of the first elastic region is applied to the second elastic region, and the first elastic region and the second elastic region are linked to improve the pulling property of the crotch. In this way, the ease of movement is also improved, and the appearance when worn is also good.

In such an absorbent article, it is desirable to provide one or more flexible axes along the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body.

According to such an absorbent article, when worn, the absorbent body is easily bent along the flexible axis, and unevenness is generated in the absorbent body, so that the fit to the crotch area is improved. In addition, the crotch area is easy to move smoothly. Making the crotch area smooth also improves the appearance when worn.

In such an absorbent article, it is desirable to provide a pair of flexible axes along the aforementioned long direction of the aforementioned absorbent body.

According to such an absorbent article, when the absorbent article is worn, the absorbent body is more easily bent along a pair of flexible axes, and unevenness can be formed in the absorbent body. As a result, the fit of the crotch area is improved, and the crotch area can move smoothly. In addition, the fit makes the crotch area less likely to become enlarged, and the appearance when worn is also improved.

Such an absorbent article is preferably provided with a central flexible axis in the central portion of the absorbent body in the width direction along the longitudinal direction, and a pair of side flexible axes are provided along the longitudinal direction on the outer side of the absorbent body in the width direction closer to the central flexible axis.

According to such an absorbent article, when the absorbent article is worn, the absorbent body is more likely to bend along the central flexible axis and a pair of side flexible axes, and it is easier to produce unevenness in the absorbent body. In this way, it becomes easier to bend, fits more closely to the crotch area, and becomes easier to move. In addition, the crotch area is less likely to become enlarged, and the appearance when worn is further improved.

In such an absorbent article, a central flexible axis is provided along the longitudinal direction at the central portion of the absorbent body in the width direction, and it is desirable that at least a portion of the central flexible axis and the first elastic region overlap when viewed in the thickness direction.

According to such an absorbent article, the absorbent body can be easily bent along the axis of flexibility when worn, so it becomes easy to fit the crotch. In addition, because the absorbent article is stretched in the longitudinal direction by the first elastic region, the first elastic region and the central axis of flexibility overlap in the thickness direction, and the fit of the crotch is further improved. In addition, by improving the fit, the crotch is not easy to become enlarged, and the appearance when worn is also improved.

In such an absorbent article, the second elastic region is provided at the inner side of the joint portion of the rear waist region in the longitudinal direction and at the outer side of the center line of the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article, and the third elastic region is provided at the inner end portion of the longitudinal direction of the front waist region and is arranged along the width direction. The first elastic region is provided from the second elastic region to the outer side of the second elastic region. The outer end of the aforementioned long direction of the region only extends toward the outer side of the aforementioned long direction by a predetermined length, and the aforementioned first elastic region is arranged closer to the inner side of the aforementioned long direction than the outer end of the aforementioned long direction of the aforementioned third elastic region, or it is desirable that the aforementioned outer end of the aforementioned long direction of the aforementioned third elastic region only extends toward the outer side of the aforementioned long direction by a length shorter than the aforementioned predetermined length.

According to such an absorbent article, in the rear waist region, the first elastic region and the second elastic region intersect, and the first elastic region further extends outward in the length direction, so that the first elastic region and the second elastic region work together to more easily pull up the crotch area, thereby improving the fit of the buttocks. On the other hand, the front waist region has fewer uneven body shapes than the buttocks, so by shortening the length of the first elastic region in the length direction, the pulling force is reduced, and a wider absorption area can be formed when urinating.

In such an absorbent article, the second elastic region is provided at the inner side of the joint of the rear waist region and at the outer side of the center line of the absorbent article in the longitudinal direction, the rear waist region has another elastic region arranged along the width direction at the outer side of the second elastic region in the longitudinal direction, the another elastic region overlaps the joint in the longitudinal direction, and one end of the first elastic region in the longitudinal direction is preferably arranged at the inner side of the longitudinal direction than the inner end of the other elastic region in the longitudinal direction.

According to such an absorbent article, the above-mentioned other elastic region is an area for fitting the waistline of the wearer and is located above the defecation position. If the first elastic member for improving the fit of the crotch area exists in that area, there is a concern that the absorbent article and the skin will come into contact excessively, causing a sense of incompatibility. By arranging the outer end of the first elastic member in the longitudinal direction at a position where the other elastic region does not reach, appropriate fit can be provided.

===First implementation form===

In the following, the absorbent article of the present invention is described by taking a disposable diaper for adults as an example. However, it is not limited to the above, and the absorbent article of the present invention can also be applied to disposable diapers for infants and young children, underwear-type sanitary napkins, etc.

<Structure of the shorts type disposable diaper 1>

First, the structure of a shorts-type disposable diaper 1 (hereinafter referred to as a "diaper") as an example of an absorbent article will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 4.

FIG1 is a schematic three-dimensional view of a shorts-type disposable diaper 1 of the first embodiment. FIG2 is a schematic top view of the diaper 1 of the first embodiment in an unfolded and stretched state viewed from the skin side. FIG3 is a schematic cross-sectional view taken along line A-A in FIG2. FIG4 is a schematic cross-sectional view taken along line B-B in FIG2.

The paper diaper 1 has a "up-down direction", a "width direction" orthogonal to the up-down direction, and a "front-back direction" orthogonal to the up-down direction and the width direction when worn in a shorts-type state as shown in FIG1. In addition, with respect to the up-down direction, the upper side corresponds to the waist opening side of the wearer, and the lower side corresponds to the crotch side of the wearer. In addition, with respect to the front-back direction, the front side corresponds to the abdominal side of the wearer, and the rear side corresponds to the back side of the wearer.

In the unfolded and stretched state shown in FIG2 , the paper diaper 1 has a length direction, a width direction, and a thickness direction (in FIG2 , a direction passing through the paper surface) as three mutually orthogonal directions. In addition, the length direction is along the aforementioned up-down direction. Moreover, one side of the length direction corresponds to the abdomen (front side), and the other side corresponds to the back (back side). In addition, the outer side of the length direction corresponds to the upper side (waist opening side) of the up-down direction, and the inner side of the length direction corresponds to the lower side (crotch side) of the up-down direction. Moreover, since the length direction and the up-down direction are similar directions, for the convenience of the following description, even in the unfolded state, there will be a case where the up-down direction is used instead of the length direction for description. On the other hand, the width direction is synonymous with the width direction in the aforementioned shorts-type state. In addition, regarding the thickness direction, one side corresponds to the skin side that contacts the wearer's body, and the other side corresponds to the non-skin side on the opposite side (see Figure 3).

Here, the "expanded state" refers to the state in which the two sides of the diaper 1 in the shorts-type state of Figure 1 are untied in the width direction, separated into the front waistline area 11F and the rear waistline area 11R described later, and the diaper 1 is opened in the vertical direction, and the diaper 1 is unfolded into a flat state. In addition, the "stretched state" refers to the state in which the product (diaper 1) is stretched to a wrinkle-free state, specifically, the size of each component constituting the diaper 1 (for example, the outer body 10 and the absorbent body 20 described later) is stretched to the same length as or close to the size of the component alone.

As shown in FIG1 , the paper diaper 1 comprises an outer body 10 and an absorbent body 20 for absorbing excrement such as urine.

The outer body 10 has a waist region 11 located at the waist of the wearer and a crotch region 12 located under the crotch of the wearer. The waist region 11 has a front waist region 11F covering the wearer's abdomen and a rear waist region 11R covering the wearer's back. As shown in FIG. 2 , the upper end and side ends of the front waist region 11F are the upper end and side ends of a sheet (here, a front outer back sheet 120F described later) forming the outer shape of the outer body 10 on the abdomen, and the lower end is the position of a line UL1 connecting the intersection points of the outer body 10 and the absorbent body 20 on the abdomen. Furthermore, the area surrounded by the upper end, the side end, the curved or straight line portion connected to the line UL1 from the lower end of the side end, and the above-mentioned lower end is the front waist area 11F. The upper end and the side end of the back waist area 11R are the upper end and the side end of the sheet (here, the back outer back sheet 120R described later) that forms the outer shape of the outer body 10 on the back side, and the lower end is the position of the line UL2 connecting the intersection points of the outer body 10 and the absorbent body 20 on the back side. Furthermore, the area surrounded by the upper end, the side end, the curved or straight line portion connected to the line UL2 from the lower end of the side end, and the above-mentioned lower end is the back waist area 11R. The crotch area 12 is the area between the front waist area 11F and the back waist area 11R.

When the diaper 1 is unfolded and stretched, the front waist region 11F is located at one end of the absorbent body 20 in the longitudinal direction, and the rear waist region 11R is located at the other end of the absorbent body 20 in the longitudinal direction.

In addition, in the width direction of the diaper 1, the front waist region 11F and the rear waist region 11R have a joint 13FR that joins a pair of side ends 13F of the front waist region 11F and a pair of side ends 13R of the rear waist region 11R. The joint 13FR forms a shorts-type disposable diaper 1.

<Structure of the outer casing 10>

As shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3 , the outer body 10 has: an outer top sheet 110, a front outer back sheet 120F, a rear outer back sheet 120R, a front waist elastic component 130F, a rear waist elastic component 130R, and a rear leg elastic component 140.

The outer top sheet 110 is arranged from the front waist region 11F through the crotch region 12 to the rear waist region 11R (Figure 3). The width (length in the width direction) of the outer top sheet 110 in the front waist region 11F and the rear waist region 11R is greater than the width (length in the width direction) of the outer top sheet 110 in the crotch region 12 (Figure 2). The outer top sheet 110 can be formed of hot air nonwoven fabric, spunbond nonwoven fabric, SMS nonwoven fabric (spunbond, meltblown, spunbond nonwoven fabric), waterproof film, etc.

As shown in FIG3 , the front outer back sheet 120F is arranged closer to the non-skin side than the outer top sheet 110 in the front waist region 11F. The outer end (upper end) of the front outer back sheet 120F in the long direction is folded toward the skin side. The folded portion of the front outer back sheet 120F is wrapped in one end (outer end) of the outer top sheet 110 in the long direction. In addition, the outer end (upper end) of the front outer back sheet 120F in the long direction may also be a structure that cannot be folded.

Similarly, as shown in FIG. 3 , the rear outer back sheet 120R is arranged on the non-skin side of the outer top sheet 110 in the rear waist region 11R. The outer end (upper end) of the rear outer back sheet 120R in the long direction is folded toward the skin side. The folded portion of the rear outer back sheet 120R is wrapped in the other end (outer end) of the outer top sheet 110 in the long direction. In addition, the outer end (upper end) of the rear outer back sheet 120R in the long direction may also be a structure that cannot be folded.

The front exterior back sheet 120F and the rear exterior back sheet 120R can be formed of hot air non-woven fabric, spunbond non-woven fabric, SMS non-woven fabric (spunbond, melt-blown, spunbond non-woven fabric), etc.

The front waist elastic member 130F is provided between the outer top sheet 110 and the front outer back sheet 120F in the front waist region 11F (see FIG. 3 ). The front waist elastic member 130F is, for example, a plurality of thread rubbers. The front waist elastic member 130F is bonded and fixed in the same direction by adhesives such as hot melt adhesives while being stretched in the width direction. The front waist elastic member 130F is provided with widthwise stretchability in the front waist region 11F.

The rear waist elastic member 130R is provided between the outer top sheet 110 and the rear outer back sheet 120R in the rear waist region 11R (see FIG. 3 ). The rear waist elastic member 130R is, for example, a plurality of thread rubbers. The rear waist elastic member 130R is bonded and fixed in the same direction by adhesives such as hot melt adhesives while being stretched in the width direction. The rear waist elastic member 130R is provided with widthwise stretchability in the rear waist region 11R.

In the first embodiment, the rear leg elastic member 140 is provided between the outer top sheet 110 and the rear outer back sheet 120R in the rear waist region 11R. As shown in FIG2 , the rear leg elastic member 140 has: a curved portion 140c, which is arranged to bend obliquely downward from both side ends 13R of the rear waist region 11R in the width direction toward the inner side of the rear waist region 11R in the longitudinal direction and toward the inner side in the width direction; and a straight portion 140s, which is arranged along the width direction at the center portion in the width direction. For example, the rear leg elastic member 140 may also be a band-shaped elastic sheet having a plurality of filaments of rubber or stretchability. The rear leg elastic member 140 is bonded and fixed in an extended state by adhesives such as hot melt adhesives.

However, the present invention is not limited to the above, and the front waist region 11F may also have an elastic component similar to the rear leg elastic component 140 of the rear waist region 11R.

<Structure of absorbent body 20>

The absorbent body 20 is provided on the skin side of the outer body 10 (see FIG3 ). As shown in FIG4 , the absorbent body 20 includes: a liquid-absorbing absorbent body (absorbent core) 21, a core wrap sheet 22 covering the outer peripheral surface of the absorbent body 21, a top sheet 23, a film sheet 24, and a back sheet 25.

The absorbent body 21 is provided on the skin side of the outer body 10 in the thickness direction at least in the crotch area 12. Moreover, the absorbent body 21 is a component formed by stacking liquid absorbent materials, and can absorb excrement such as urine. As for the liquid absorbent material, for example, liquid absorbent fibers such as pulp fibers, superabsorbent polymers, etc. can be used. Moreover, the shape of the absorbent body 21 is not limited to the shape extending in the longitudinal direction as shown in FIG. 2, and having a narrowed portion on the inner side in the width direction, and can also be, for example, a roughly rectangular shape when viewed from above.

As suitable materials for the core wrap sheet 22, thin paper, non-woven fabric, etc. can be exemplified. However, such a core wrap sheet 22 is not a necessary structure.

The top sheet 23 is a sheet that forms a skin-contacting surface that can directly contact the skin of the wearer, and is, for example, a liquid-permeable nonwoven fabric with a larger plane size than the absorbent body 21. The film sheet 24 is a sheet-like member that covers the absorbent body 21 from the non-skin side, and is a sheet with a larger plane size than the absorbent body 21. As an example of the film sheet 24, a liquid-impermeable leakproof sheet such as polyethylene or polypropylene can be cited.

The back sheet 25 is a liquid-impermeable sheet covering the absorbent body 21 from the non-skin side. As shown in FIG. 4 , the width dimension of the back sheet 25 is made sufficiently larger than that of the film sheet 24, and the two ends in the width direction are folded toward the center side (inner side) in the width direction with the positions of the ends 20e in the width direction of the absorbent body 20 as the folding positions. In addition, when folding, the back sheet 25 is folded in a manner that sandwiches the two ends in the width direction of the film sheet 24. The leg elastic member 26 such as a thread rubber is fixed near the folding position in a state of being stretched in the length direction, thereby giving the leg elasticity.

Furthermore, the disposable diaper 1 has a central elastic member 30 of a plurality of thread rubbers or the like arranged along the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body 21 in the central portion in the width direction of the disposable diaper 1. The central elastic member 30 is provided on the non-skin side in the thickness direction of the absorbent body 21, and in the first embodiment, is provided between the film sheet 24 and the back sheet 25. In the first embodiment, although two central elastic members 30 are provided, the number is not limited thereto, and may be singular or plural. Furthermore, the central elastic member 30 is not limited to thread rubbers or the like, and may be, for example, a stretchable belt-shaped elastic sheet or the like. Furthermore, in FIG. 2 , the portion where stretchability occurs in the central elastic member 30 (the so-called effective length portion) is indicated by a thick solid line. Moreover, as shown in FIG2 , the area formed by the two central elastic members 30 along the longitudinal direction is the first elastic region Y (the portion indicated by the oblique line sloping downward to the left). When there are multiple elastic members, the width length between the outermost elastic members in the width direction is the width length of the first elastic region Y. The length of the first elastic region Y in the longitudinal direction is the length of the effective length of the central elastic member 30 mentioned above. When there are a single elastic member or a thin sheet, the width length of each elastic member or thin sheet becomes the width length of the first elastic region Y, and the effective length of each elastic member or thin sheet becomes the length of the first elastic region Y in the longitudinal direction.

The first elastic region Y formed by the central elastic member 30 provides the diaper 1 with stretchability in the longitudinal direction, making it easier to pull up the crotch area. This improves the fit of the crotch area.

Furthermore, the first elastic region Y is preferably overlapped with at least one of the front waist region 11F and the rear waist region 11R in the thickness direction. In the first embodiment, as shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3 , the first elastic region Y overlaps with the rear waist region 11R in the thickness direction. The first elastic region Y that pulls up the crotch extends to the rear waist region 11R, and pulls up the entire crotch region to improve the fit of the buttocks. In this way, it is easy to eliminate the enlargement of the absorbent body 20, and the appearance of the diaper 1 when worn is also improved.

Moreover, as shown in FIG. 2 , the first elastic region Y intersects the straight line portion 140s of the rear leg elastic member 140 in the rear waist region 11R. If the region from the elastic member at the outermost side in the longitudinal direction (the uppermost side in the vertical direction) of the straight line portion 140s to the elastic member at the innermost side in the longitudinal direction (the lowermost side in the vertical direction) is defined as the second elastic region X (that is, the entire straight line portion 140s is the second elastic region X), the second elastic region X is a region that is located inwardly in the longitudinal direction of the joint 13FR of the rear waist region 11R and outwardly in the longitudinal direction of the central line CL of the diaper 1 and is arranged along the width direction. Furthermore, in the rear waist region 11R, the first elastic region Y formed by the central elastic member 30 intersects with the second elastic region X. Furthermore, when the straight portion 140s is formed by a stretchable band-shaped elastic sheet or the like, the region of the elastic sheet to which the straight portion 140s is joined becomes the second elastic region X.

Furthermore, the second elastic region X is provided across the entire width direction of the absorbent body 21. The second elastic region X can easily exert a force in the width direction on the absorbent body 21, and the fit of the second elastic region X (that is, the fit of the buttocks here) can be maintained. Furthermore, the second elastic region X intersects with the first elastic region Y, and the pulling force of the first elastic region Y is applied to the second elastic region X. The first elastic region Y and the second elastic region X are linked to improve the pulling property of the crotch region 12. In this way, the ease of movement is also improved, and the appearance when worn is also good.

In addition, in the first embodiment, although the second elastic region X is formed in the rear waist region 11R, it is not limited to this. That is, the second elastic region X is located in the longitudinal direction of at least one of the joints 13FR of the front waist region 11F and the joints 13FR of the rear waist region 11R, and is located in the width direction. It is sufficient to be arranged. According to such a structure, the second elastic region X improves the fit due to the tensile force in the width direction caused by the second elastic region X. Therefore, when it is formed in the front waist region 11F, the vicinity of the lower abdomen will not be enlarged, and when it is formed in the rear waist region 11R, the fit of the buttocks can be improved.

In the first embodiment, the second elastic region X is provided across the entire width direction of the absorbent body 21, but the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, the second elastic region X may be provided across a portion of the width direction of the absorbent body 21, or may be cut intermittently. Details will be described later.

Next, the intersection region 150 (refer to FIG. 2 ) where the first elastic region Y and the second elastic region X intersect is described. FIG. 5A is an enlarged view of the intersection region 150 of the first embodiment, and FIG. 5B is a view showing the extension state of the intersection region 150 of FIG. 5A . FIG. 6A is an enlarged view of an example of the intersection region 150, and FIG. 6B is a view showing the extension state of the intersection region 150 of FIG. 6A . FIG. 7A is an enlarged view of an example of the intersection region 150 of the first embodiment, and FIG. 7B is a view showing the extension state of the intersection region 150 of FIG. 7A . FIG. 8A is an enlarged view of another example of the intersection region 150, and FIG. 8B is a view showing the extension state of the intersection region 150 of FIG. 8A .

The first elastic region Y is a region that provides stretchability in the longitudinal direction to the paper diaper 1, and the second elastic region X is a region that provides stretchability in the width direction. Since it is easy to see how the tension in the longitudinal direction and the width direction applied to the intersection region 150 where the first elastic region Y and the second elastic region X intersect, FIG. 5A shows the state of the intersection region 150 as seen from the non-skin side, in which three lines of predetermined thickness such as a mark are drawn along the longitudinal direction and five lines are drawn along the width direction on the non-skin side of the intersection region 150 to form a 5 mm wide grid. In addition, the intersection region 150 of the first embodiment is formed such that the length in the width direction (the length in the width direction of the first elastic region Y) L1 is shorter than the length in the length direction (the length in the length direction of the second elastic region X) L2 (L1<L2).

The intersection region 150 shown in FIG6A is different from the first embodiment in that the widthwise length L1 of the intersection region 150 is longer than the lengthwise length L2 (L1>L2). Also, on the non-skin side of such an intersection region 150, five lines of predetermined thickness such as markings are drawn along the longitudinal direction and three lines are drawn along the width direction to form a 5 mm wide grid.

If the diaper 1 is unfolded and stretched as shown in FIG2, as shown in FIG5B, the first elastic region Y exerts tension in the longitudinal direction (vertical direction) in the cross region 150, and the second elastic region X also exerts tension in the width direction. If the three lines extending along the longitudinal direction are observed, the line widths of the two lines located on the outer sides of the width direction become wider in the width direction, and are deformed to expand outward in the width direction. Although the central line is not deformed, the line width expands in the width direction. That is, the tension in the width direction of the cross region 150, whose length L1 in the width direction is shorter than the length L2 in the longitudinal direction, acts on the central part.

On the other hand, FIG. 6B also shows the elongated state of the cross region 150. In the cross region 150 where the length L1 in the width direction is longer than the length L2 in the length direction, when the five lines extending along the length direction are observed, the line width expands toward the outer side of the width direction, and although the line width is deformed toward the outer side of the width direction, the central line does not deform or expand. That is, the tensile force in the width direction becomes difficult to act until the central part of the cross region 150.

Next, the intersection area 150 shown in FIG. 7A has the following structure. First, the first elastic area Y of the diaper 1 of the first embodiment does not extend to the intersection area 150, and the extension area Y' of the extension area of the first elastic area Y intersects. The second elastic area X exists to the outside of the intersection area 150 in the width direction, and the extension area X' of the extension area of the second elastic area X intersects in the intersection area 150. In such an intersection area 150, as in the intersection area 150 of FIG. 5A, three predetermined thick and thin lines are pulled out in the longitudinal direction and five in the width direction.

In the intersection area 150 shown in FIG8A, the first elastic area Y and the second elastic area X intersecting the intersection area 150 shown in FIG6A do not extend to the intersection area 150, and the extension area Y' as the extension area of the first elastic area Y and the extension area X' as the extension area of the second elastic area X intersect. In such an intersection area 150, as in the intersection area 150 of FIG6A, five lines of predetermined thickness are drawn along the length direction and three lines are drawn along the width direction.

If the disposable diaper 1 is unfolded and stretched as shown in FIG2, as shown in FIG7B, when looking at the three lines extending in the longitudinal direction, the line widths of the two lines located on the outer sides in the width direction become wider in the width direction and deformed to expand outward in the width direction. Although the central line is not deformed, the line width expands in the width direction. That is, even in the intersection area 150 where the extension area Y' and the extension area X' intersect each other, the tension in the longitudinal direction and the tension in the width direction act in the intersection area 150, and the length L1 of the width direction of the intersection area 150 is shorter than the length L2 in the longitudinal direction (L1<L2), so it can be seen that the tension in the width direction acts on the central part of the intersection area 150.

Furthermore, as shown in FIG8B, if the five lines extending along the lengthwise direction of the cross region 150 shown in FIG8A are observed when the cross region 150 is stretched, the line width increases toward the widthwise direction as it moves toward the outer side of the widthwise direction, and although it is deformed toward the outer side of the widthwise direction, the central line does not deform or expand in line width. That is, in the cross region 150 where the extension region Y' and the extension region X' intersect each other, and the length L1 of the cross region 150 in the widthwise direction becomes longer than the length L2 in the lengthwise direction (L1>L2), it can be seen that the tension in the lengthwise direction and the widthwise direction acts on the cross region 150, and the force is not easily applied to the central part of the cross region 150.

Therefore, as shown in Figures 5A to 8B above, the first elastic region Y and its extension region Y' are used as the first stress region, and the second elastic region X and its extension region X' are used as the second stress region. The relationship between the tensile force on the outer side in the width direction and the outer side in the length direction of the intersection region 150 where the first stress region and the second stress region intersect, and the length of the intersection region 150 in the width direction and the length direction is as follows.

First, as shown in Figures 6B and 8B, although the widthwise length L1 of the cross region 150 (i.e., the widthwise length of the first elastic region Y or its extension region Y') is longer than the lengthwise length L2 of the cross region 150 (i.e., the lengthwise length of the second elastic region X) (L1>L2), the outer side of the cross region 150 in the widthwise direction is easily subjected to force, but the force is dispersed in the central part and is not easily subjected to force. As a result, there is a concern that the central part of the cross region 150 is not easily fitted to the wearer's body, and the central part may be enlarged.

As shown in Fig. 5B and Fig. 7B, the length L1 of the cross region 150 in the width direction is shorter than the length L2 of the cross region 150 in the length direction (L1<L2), and the force in the width direction is easy to act on the central part of the cross region 150. In this way, the cross region 150 will not be enlarged by the second stress region while maintaining the fit of the crotch portion caused by the first stress region, and it is easy to fit the body, and the appearance when worn is also improved. In addition, even if the first elastic region Y and the second elastic region X are the intersection regions of the extension regions (Y', X') that do not intersect each other, as described above, because the tension in the length direction and the tension in the width direction act on the cross region 150 by each extension region (Y', X'), the same effect can be obtained.

Referring to Fig. 2 to Fig. 4, in the first embodiment of the paper diaper 1, a central flexible axis 50 is provided in the longitudinal direction at the center of the width direction of the absorbent body 21, and a pair of side flexible axes 55 are provided in the longitudinal direction on the outer side of the width direction of the absorbent body 21 closer to the central flexible axis 50. In addition, the central flexible axis 50 and the pair of side flexible axes 55 are only applied to the area where the absorbent body 21 exists.

The central flexible axis 50 and a pair of side flexible axes 55 are provided to facilitate bending of the absorbent body 20 at the portion where the flexible axes are provided. Examples of methods for forming the flexible axis include: 1) forming a slit or a narrow notch in the absorbent body and using the same as the flexible axis; 2) forming an embossed groove in the absorbent body and using the embossed groove as the flexible axis; 3) forming a portion in which the constituent material is reduced in a continuous or discontinuous line shape, or a portion where the constituent material is not layered, and using the portion as the flexible axis, etc.

The central flexible axis 50 and a pair of side flexible axes 55 in the first embodiment are formed in the absorbent body 21 without a layered constituent material. When wearing, the absorbent body 21 becomes easier to bend along the central flexible axis 50 and a pair of side flexible axes 55, and it is easy to produce unevenness in the absorbent body 21. In this way, the paper diaper 1 not only fits the crotch area and becomes easier to move, but also the appearance of the wearing state is further improved.

As shown in FIG. 2 , the central flexible axis 50 and the first elastic region Y overlap at least partially in the thickness direction. The central flexible axis 50 makes it easier for the absorbent body 21 to bend along the flexible axis 50 when worn, and makes it easier to fit the crotch. In addition, because the diaper 1 stretches in the longitudinal direction by the first elastic region Y, the first elastic region Y overlaps with the central flexible axis 50 in the thickness direction, and the fit of the crotch is further improved. With such improved fit, the wearer can move more easily, and the appearance of the wearing state is also improved.

In the first embodiment, the central flexible axis 50 and a pair of side flexible axes 55 are provided in the absorbent body 21, but the arrangement and number of the central flexible axis 50 and a pair of side flexible axes 55 are not limited thereto, as long as one or more flexible axes are provided along the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body 21. For example, only a pair of flexible axes may be provided along the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body 21. The flexible axis is a flexible axis along which the absorbent body 21 can be easily bent when the diaper 1 is worn, and the position and number of the flexible axis may be changed according to the wearer of the diaper, the size of the diaper, etc. By setting up such a flexible axis, not only the fit of the crotch area is improved and it is easy to move, the crotch area will not be enlarged, and the appearance when worn will also become better.

As shown in FIG. 2 , the plurality of rear waist elastic members 130R provided in the rear waist region 11R are different from the second elastic region X, and other elastic regions (referred to as elastic regions 130Ra) are arranged along the width direction on the outer side of the second elastic region X in the longitudinal direction. Moreover, the elastic region 130Ra overlaps with the joint 13FR in the longitudinal direction. Moreover, one end Yer of the longitudinal direction of the first elastic region Y in the rear waist region 11R is arranged on the inner side of the longitudinal direction of the inner end 130Ran of the elastic region 130Ra. The elastic region 130Ra is a region for fitting the waist of the wearer and is located above the defecation position. If the first elastic region Y for improving the fit of the crotch area is present in such an elastic region 130Ra, there is a concern that the diaper 1 will excessively contact the skin, causing a sense of incongruity. Thus, by arranging one end Yer of the first elastic region Y in the longitudinal direction at a position that does not reach the elastic region 130Ra, an appropriate fit can be provided.

<Deformation examples of the first stress region and the second stress region>

In the following, the variations of the first stress region and the second stress region described above are described with reference to the drawings.

(Variant 1)

FIG9 is a diagram illustrating a first modification of the first embodiment. The difference from the first embodiment described above is that a portion of the rear waist region 11R is cut off from the non-skin side to provide a point at which the incision 60 is provided. In the portion where the incision 60 exists, the rear leg elastic member 140 (straight portion 140s) is also cut off. Moreover, rear leg elastic members 140 (straight portion 140s) are provided further outward than both side ends in the width direction of the incision 60. The region where the incision 60 exists is, as shown in the example of FIG7A , an extension region X’ to which the tensile force in the width direction of the straight portion 140s of the second elastic region X acts, and therefore, the intersection region 150 in FIG9 is a region where the first elastic region Y and the extension region X’ intersect. Even in the extended area X', since the length L1 of the cross area 150 in the width direction is shorter than the length L2 in the length direction (in the partially enlarged view of FIG. 9, the extension line of each rear leg elastic member 140 of the straight line portion 140s is represented by a two-point chain line, and the length L2 between the upper and lower ends thereof) is shorter, as shown in FIG. 7B, the tension in the width direction acts on the central part of the cross area 150. As a result, since the cross area 150 of FIG. 9 is easy to fit the buttocks, the cross area 150 will not be enlarged, so the appearance when worn is also improved.

(Variant 2)

FIG. 10 is a diagram for explaining a second modification of the first embodiment. The difference from the first embodiment described above is that the length extending to the back side of each central elastic member 30 in the longitudinal direction is shortened, and there is no intersection point between the first elastic region Y and the second elastic region X. Therefore, in the intersection region 150 of the second modification, the second elastic region X intersects with the extension region Y' which is an extension of the first elastic region Y. The extension region Y' is a region where the tension in the longitudinal direction acts when the paper diaper 1 is in the extended state, as shown in FIG. 7B. Therefore, even in the intersection area 150 where the second elastic area X and the extension area Y' intersect, the tension in the longitudinal direction caused by the extension area Y' and the tension in the width direction caused by the second elastic area X act, and the length L1 of the width direction of the intersection area 150 (in the partially enlarged view of Figure 10, the extension lines of each central elastic member 30 are indicated by dotted lines along the longitudinal direction, and the length L1 between the extension lines in the width direction) is shorter than the length L2 in the longitudinal direction, so the tension in the width direction acts on the central part of the intersection area 150. Therefore, the same effect as above can be obtained.

(Variant 3)

FIG. 11 is a diagram for explaining the modification 3 of the first embodiment. The difference from the first embodiment described above is that a portion of the back waist region 11R is cut off from the non-skin side to form a cutout 60, and because the length of the first elastic region Y in the longitudinal direction is short, there is no intersection point between the first elastic region Y and the second elastic region X in the intersection region 150. As shown in FIG. 11, in the intersection region 150 of the modification 3, the extension region Y' extending the first elastic region Y and the extension region X' extending the second elastic region X intersect, which is the same as the state shown in FIG. 7B described above. Even in the intersection region 150 where the extension region Y' and the extension region X' intersect each other, as in the first embodiment, when the length L1 of the intersection region 150 in the width direction is shorter than the length L2 in the length direction (L1<L2) (refer to the partially enlarged view of FIG. 11, each extension line is the same as FIG. 9 and FIG. 10), the tension acts in the length direction (up and down direction) in the intersection region 150, and since the tension in the width direction acts on the central part of the intersection region 150, the same effect as above can be obtained even in the intersection region 150 of the third variant.

<Second implementation form>

Fig. 12 is a schematic top view of the second embodiment of the diaper 1 in the unfolded and stretched state as viewed from the skin side. In the first embodiment, the back sheet of the outer body 10 is separated into the front outer back sheet 120F and the rear outer back sheet 120R (Fig. 3), but in the second embodiment, the outer back sheet (not shown) is composed of a sheet continuous with the front waist region 11F, the crotch region 12 and the rear waist region 11R, similarly to the outer top sheet (the outer top sheet 110 in the first embodiment). Furthermore, the rear leg elastic member 140 is not provided, and the rear waist elastic members 130Rn1 and 130Rn2 are arranged along the width direction, further inwardly than the joint 13FR in the longitudinal direction, and further outwardly than the center line CL in the longitudinal direction of the paper diaper 1. Furthermore, even in the front waist region 11F, the front waist elastic members 130Fn1 and 130Fn2 are arranged along the width direction, further inwardly than the joint 13FR in the front waist region 11F, and further outwardly than the center line CL in the longitudinal direction of the paper diaper 1. The main difference from the first embodiment is the above point, and since the other points are roughly the same, the following mainly describes the difference. The same symbols are used for the same structures, and the descriptions thereof are omitted.

In the second embodiment, in the paper diaper 1, the area sandwiched by the front waist elastic member 130Fn1 and the front waist elastic member 130Fn2 in the longitudinal direction is the second elastic area X provided in the front waist area 11F. In addition, in the paper diaper 1, the area sandwiched by the rear waist elastic members 130Rn1 and 130Rn2 in the longitudinal direction is the second elastic area X provided in the rear waist area 11R.

In the second embodiment, the back waist region 11R is where the first elastic region Y (first stress region) and the second elastic region X (second stress region) intersect. In the intersection region 150 where the first stress region and the second stress region intersect, the length L1 of the intersection region 150 in the width direction is shorter than the length L2 of the intersection region 150 in the length direction. In conjunction with the tension in the length direction caused by the first elastic region Y, the tension in the width direction of the second elastic region X acts on the central portion of the intersection region 150.

In the front waist region 11F of the second embodiment, the extension region Y' (first stress region) of the first elastic region Y intersects with the second elastic region X (third stress region). The intersection region 150' where the first stress region intersects with the second stress region is the same as the above-mentioned intersection region 150. The length of the intersection region 150' in the width direction is shorter than the length of the intersection region 150' in the length direction. The tension in the width direction of the second elastic region X acts on the central part of the intersection region 150' in conjunction with the tension in the length direction caused by the extension region Y'.

Thus, while the cross region 150 and the cross region 150' respectively maintain the fit of the crotch portion due to the first stress region, the fit of the second stress region can also be maintained, making it easy to move. Furthermore, since the force in the width direction acts on the central part of the cross region 150 (150'), the cross region 150 (150') will not be enlarged, and the appearance when worn is also improved.

In addition, in the intersection area 150 of the second embodiment, although the first elastic area Y and the second elastic area X intersect, even if either one is the extension area Y' or X', or both are the extension areas Y' and X', the same effect as above can be achieved.

In addition, in the intersection area 150' of the second embodiment, although the extension area Y' intersects with the second elastic area X, even when the first elastic area Y intersects with the second elastic area X, even when the first elastic area Y intersects with the extension area X', the same effect as above can be achieved.

===Other implementation forms===

Although the above is an explanation of the implementation form of the present invention, the above implementation form is for the purpose of facilitating the understanding of the present invention, and is not intended to limit the interpretation of the present invention. In addition, the present invention can be changed and improved as long as it does not deviate from its purpose, and it goes without saying that the present invention also includes its equivalents.

In the first embodiment, as shown in FIG. 2 , the second elastic region X is provided on the inner side of the joint 13FR of the rear waist region 11R in the longitudinal direction and on the outer side of the center line CL in the longitudinal direction of the diaper 1, and the first elastic region Y extends from the outer end in the longitudinal direction of the second elastic region X to the outer side in the longitudinal direction by a predetermined length S1. Furthermore, at the inner end portion in the longitudinal direction of the front waist region 11F, an elastic region formed by four front waist elastic members 130F arranged from the innermost front waist elastic member 130F in the longitudinal direction of the front waist region 11F toward the outer side in the longitudinal direction is provided as the third elastic region Z, and the third elastic region is arranged along the width direction, and the first elastic region Y is arranged further inward in the longitudinal direction than the outer end portion in the longitudinal direction of the third elastic region Z. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the first elastic region Y may also extend further in the longitudinal direction than the outer end portion in the longitudinal direction of the third elastic region Z. At this time, it is ideal that the first elastic region Y extends from the outer end of the third elastic region Z in the longitudinal direction to the outer side of the rear waist region 11R by a length shorter than the predetermined length S1 in the above-mentioned rear waist region 11R. In the rear waist region 11R, the first elastic region Y intersects with the second elastic region X, and the first elastic region Y extends to the outer side in the longitudinal direction, so the pulling force of the first elastic region Y is applied to the second elastic region X, and the first elastic region Y and the second elastic region X work together to pull up the crotch region 12, making it easier to further fit the buttocks. On the other hand, the front waistline area 11F has less unevenness in the body shape than the hip side, so by shortening the length of the first elastic area Y in the long direction, the pulling force of the first elastic area Y is reduced, and it will not fit too tightly, so that a wide absorption area can be formed when urinating.

In addition, although the third elastic region Z is composed of a plurality of elastic components (130F), the third elastic region Z may also be a single elastic component, or a stretchable band-shaped elastic sheet, etc.

Claims (9)

An absorbent article has a longitudinal direction, a width direction and a thickness direction that intersect each other in an unfolded state and an extended state, and comprises: an outer body having a waist region and a crotch region; and an absorbent body, which has an absorbent body disposed on the skin side of the thickness direction of the outer body at least in the crotch region, wherein the absorbent article is characterized in that the waist region has: a front waist region located at one end side of the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body, and a front waist region located at the end side of the absorbent body. The central part of the article in the width direction is formed by all elastic members arranged along the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body, the first elastic region is a region having a certain width from one end to the other end of the elastic member in the longitudinal direction, and the second elastic region is located closer to the inner side of at least one of the joints of the front waist region and the rear waist region in the longitudinal direction and closer to the center line of the absorbent article in the longitudinal direction. The outer side is arranged along the aforementioned width direction, and the aforementioned first elastic region is used as the first stress region, and the aforementioned second elastic region and its extension region are used as the second stress region. In the intersection region where the aforementioned first stress region and the aforementioned second stress region intersect, the length of the aforementioned intersection region in the aforementioned width direction is shorter than the length of the aforementioned intersection region in the aforementioned long direction. In the unfolded state and the stretched state, the tension caused by the aforementioned two elastic regions acts on the central part of the aforementioned intersection region in the aforementioned width direction. The absorbent article as recited in claim 1, wherein the first elastic region overlaps with at least one of the front waist region and the rear waist region when viewed in the thickness direction. The absorbent article as recited in claim 1 or 2, wherein the second elastic region is provided across the entire width direction of the absorbent body, and the second elastic region intersects with the first elastic region. The absorbent article as recited in claim 1, wherein one or more flexible axes are provided along the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body. An absorbent article as recited in claim 1, wherein a pair of flexible axes are provided along the aforementioned long direction of the aforementioned absorbent body. The absorbent article as recited in claim 1, wherein a central flexible axis is provided in the central portion of the absorbent body in the width direction along the longitudinal direction, and a pair of side flexible axes are provided in the longitudinal direction on the outer side of the absorbent body in the width direction closer to the central flexible axis. The absorbent article as recited in claim 1, wherein a central flexible axis is provided in the central portion of the absorbent body in the width direction along the longitudinal direction, and the central flexible axis and the first elastic region at least partially overlap when viewed in the thickness direction. The absorbent article as recited in claim 1, wherein the second elastic region is provided at the inner side of the joint portion of the rear waist region in the longitudinal direction and at the outer side of the center line of the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article, and the third elastic region is provided at the inner end portion of the longitudinal direction of the front waist region and is arranged along the width direction, and the first elastic region is provided from the front waist region to the rear waist region. The outer end of the second elastic region in the aforementioned long direction only extends outwardly in the aforementioned long direction by a predetermined length, and the first elastic region is arranged closer to the inner side of the aforementioned long direction than the outer end of the third elastic region in the aforementioned long direction, or extends outwardly in the aforementioned long direction by a length shorter than the predetermined length from the outer end of the third elastic region in the aforementioned long direction. The absorbent article as claimed in claim 1, wherein the second elastic region is provided at the inner side of the joint of the rear waist region and at the outer side of the center line of the absorbent article in the longitudinal direction, the rear waist region has another elastic region arranged along the width direction at the outer side of the second elastic region in the longitudinal direction, the another elastic region overlaps the joint in the longitudinal direction, and one end of the first elastic region in the longitudinal direction is arranged at the inner side of the longitudinal direction than the inner end of the other elastic region in the longitudinal direction.
