Abstract

A digital stamp information acquiring device adapted to scan a physical stamp and a method for verifying digital stamp information. The physical stamp has an end portion which includes a stamp information. The stamp information includes undulation feature, surface texture feature and character feature. The device includes a case and a control module, a light source and an optical scanning module disposed in the case. The case has a top plate with a transparent window. When the end portion of the physical stamp is appropriately disposed on the transparent window, the control module will send out a control signal. The light source is coupled to the control module and emits light with a working wavelength toward the transparent window according to the control signal. The optical scanning module is coupled to the control module and scans the transparent window according to the control signal to capture the stamp information.
