Abstract

一種影像信號輸入方法,其適用於觸控電子裝置,其中觸控電子裝置包括觸控反射式顯示面板,而觸控反射式顯示面板具有多個畫素。上述影像信號輸入方法包括當觸控電子裝置處於非手寫模式時,輸入全畫面信號至觸控反射式顯示面板,以更新觸控反射式顯示面板的這些畫素。當觸控電子裝置處於手寫模式時,感測物體在觸控反射式顯示面板上的移動軌跡。根據移動軌跡,輸入局部畫面信號至觸控反射式顯示面板,以更新對應移動軌跡的觸控反射式顯示面板的部分這些畫素。

Description

影像信號輸入方法
本發明是有關於一種影像信號輸入方法,且特別是有關於一種應用於觸控電子裝置的影像信號輸入方法。
現今的電子紙(electronic paper,e-paper)有的已具備手寫功能。例如,使用者可用手指或觸控筆(stylus)在此電子紙的螢幕上進行書寫,以進行例如文書處理或繪圖的功能。然而,目前電子紙通常是以整張畫面信號輸出的方式來顯示影像,即更新電子紙的所有畫素。即使當電子紙處於書寫狀態時,電子紙仍會輸出整張畫面信號來更新所有畫素,以至於使用者在電子紙上進行書寫時,會明顯發現手寫延遲(latency)的情形。如此,電子紙的螢幕難以即時顯示使用者的手寫軌跡,從而造成使用者在操作上的不便。
本發明至少一實施例提供一種影像信號輸入方法,以幫助減少手寫延遲的情況。
本發明至少一實施例所提出的影像信號輸入方法,其適用於觸控電子裝置,其中觸控電子裝置包括觸控反射式顯示面板,而觸控反射式顯示面板具有多個畫素。上述影像信號輸入方法包括當觸控電子裝置處於非手寫模式時,輸入全畫面信號至觸控反射式顯示面板,以更新觸控反射式顯示面板的這些畫素。當觸控電子裝置處於手寫模式時,感測物體在觸控反射式顯示面板上的移動軌跡。根據移動軌跡,輸入局部畫面信號至觸控反射式顯示面板,以更新對應移動軌跡的觸控反射式顯示面板的部分這些畫素。
在本發明至少一實施例中,上述非手寫模式為閱讀模式。
在本發明至少一實施例中,上述觸控反射式顯示面板包括電濕潤顯示面板或電泳式顯示面板。
在本發明至少一實施例中,當觸控電子裝置處於非手寫模式時,全畫面信號是經由行動產業處理器接口(Mobile Industry Processor Interface,MIPI)輸入至觸控反射式顯示面板。
在本發明至少一實施例中,當觸控電子裝置處於手寫模式時,局部畫面信號是經由通用序列匯流排(Universal Serial Bus,USB)輸入至觸控反射式顯示面板。
在本發明至少一實施例中,上述影像信號輸入方法還包括根據第一模式指令,令觸控電子裝置處於非手寫模式。根據第二模式指令,令觸控電子裝置處於手寫模式。
在本發明至少一實施例中,上述輸入全畫面信號至觸控反射式顯示面板的步驟包括根據翻頁指令,輸入翻頁信號至觸控反射式顯示面板。
在本發明至少一實施例中,上述輸入全畫面信號至觸控反射式顯示面板的步驟包括根據首頁指令,輸入首頁信號至觸控反射式顯示面板。
當觸控電子裝置處於手寫模式時,觸控反射式顯示面板會根據局部畫面信號來更新對應上述移動軌跡的部分這些畫素。相較於現有具備手寫功能的電子紙,本發明至少一實施例的觸控電子裝置在手寫模式下能縮短畫面更新的時間,進而幫助減少手寫延遲的情況。
在以下的內文中,為了清楚呈現本案的技術特徵,圖式中的元件(例如層、膜、基板以及區域等)的尺寸(例如長度、寬度、厚度與深度)會以不等比例的方式放大。因此,下文實施例的說明與解釋不受限於圖式中的元件所呈現的尺寸與形狀,而應涵蓋如實際製程及/或公差所導致的尺寸、形狀以及兩者的偏差。例如,圖式所示的平坦表面可以具有粗糙及/或非線性的特徵,而圖式所示的銳角可以是圓的。所以,本案圖式所呈示的元件主要是用於示意,並非旨在精準地描繪出元件的實際形狀,也非用於限制本案的申請專利範圍。
圖1是本發明至少一實施例的影像信號輸入方法的流程示意圖,而圖2A是適用於圖1中的影像信號輸入方法的觸控電子裝置的方塊示意圖。請參閱圖1與圖2A,觸控電子裝置100可以是行動裝置(mobile device),其例如是電子紙、智慧手機、平板電腦或筆記型電腦。觸控電子裝置100可包括處理器110與觸控反射式顯示面板120,其中處理器110電性連接觸控反射式顯示面板120,以控制觸控反射式顯示面板120。
觸控反射式顯示面板120為畫素型顯示面板(pixel display panel),並且具有多個畫素。觸控反射式顯示面板120具有觸控功能,並能感測物體10在其上的位置與移動,其中物體10可為觸控筆(如圖2A所示)或手指。在圖2A所示的實施例中,觸控反射式顯示面板120可屬於外貼式(out-cell)觸控顯示面板,並可包括反射式顯示面板121與觸控面板122,其中處理器110電性連接觸控面板122與反射式顯示面板121,而觸控面板122固定於反射式顯示面板121上。例如,觸控面板122可黏合於反射式顯示面板121。
觸控反射式顯示面板120可以包括電濕潤顯示面板或電泳式顯示面板。以圖2A為例,觸控反射式顯示面板120所包括的反射式顯示面板121可以是電濕潤顯示面板或電泳式顯示面板等這種即使沒有電能,也能維持影像的顯示裝置。
須說明的是,在其他實施例中,觸控反射式顯示面板120也可以屬於整合式(on-cell)或內嵌式(in-cell)觸控顯示面板。也就是說,反射式顯示面板121與觸控面板122可以整合成一體。因此,圖2A所示的觸控反射式顯示面板120僅供舉例說明,並不限制觸控反射式顯示面板120為外貼式觸控顯示面板。
在本實施例的影像信號輸入方法中,可先執行步驟S101,令觸控電子裝置100處於手寫模式或非手寫模式。具體而言,使用者可依據需求,令處理器110產生第一模式指令或第二模式指令,從而調整觸控電子裝置100的操作模式。當第一模式指令產生時,令觸控電子裝置100處於非手寫模式。當第二模式指令產生時,令觸控電子裝置100處於手寫模式。
圖2B是圖2A中的觸控電子裝置在處於非手寫模式時的俯視示意圖。請參閱圖1與圖2B,在圖2B的實施例中,觸控電子裝置100具有切換鍵130,其可為實體按鍵,並用於切換觸控電子裝置100的操作模式。當觸控電子裝置100處於手寫模式時,使用者可按壓切換鍵130,以使處理器110產生第一模式指令,而觸控電子裝置100會根據第一模式指令從手寫模式切換成非手寫模式。
反之,當觸控電子裝置100處於非手寫模式時,使用者可按壓切換鍵130,以使處理器110產生第二模式指令,而觸控電子裝置100會根據第二模式指令從非手寫模式切換成手寫模式。此外,須說明的是,圖2B是以實體的切換鍵130作為舉例說明,但在其他實施例中,切換鍵130也可替換成觸控反射式顯示面板120所顯示的圖標(icon),所以上述第一與第二模式指令不限制只由實體按鍵(例如切換鍵130)產生。
在步驟S101之後,觸控電子裝置100可進行步驟S102,讓觸控電子裝置100處於非手寫模式。在步驟S102中,當觸控電子裝置100處於非手寫模式時,輸入全畫面信號至觸控反射式顯示面板120,以更新觸控反射式顯示面板120的所有畫素,其中上述全畫面信號可經由行動產業處理器接口(Mobile Industry Processor Interface,MIPI)輸入至觸控反射式顯示面板120。
以圖2B為例,上述非手寫模式可為閱讀模式。當觸控電子裝置100處於閱讀模式時,觸控反射式顯示面板120不僅可顯示文字內容(未繪示),而且也顯示翻頁圖標122R與122L。此時,使用者可以按觸翻頁圖標122R或122L,以更新觸控反射式顯示面板120所顯示的畫面。
具體而言,當使用者按觸翻頁圖標122R或122L時,觸控反射式顯示面板120會產生翻頁指令,並將翻頁指令輸入至處理器110。處理器110接收翻頁指令,並根據翻頁指令,輸入翻頁信號至觸控反射式顯示面板120。翻頁信號屬於全畫面信號,因此觸控反射式顯示面板120在接收翻頁信號之後會更新所有畫素,以使觸控反射式顯示面板120顯示下一頁或上一頁文字內容的影像。
處於閱讀模式的觸控電子裝置100也會顯示首頁圖標122H。當使用者按觸首頁圖標122H時,觸控反射式顯示面板120會產生首頁指令,並將首頁指令輸入至處理器110。處理器110接收首頁指令,並根據首頁指令,輸入首頁信號至觸控反射式顯示面板120。首頁信號也屬於全畫面信號,所以觸控反射式顯示面板120在接收首頁信號之後會更新所有畫素,以使觸控反射式顯示面板120顯示首頁的影像畫面。另外,翻頁信號與首頁信號皆可經由行動產業處理器接口輸入至觸控反射式顯示面板120。
圖2C是圖2A中的觸控電子裝置在處於手寫模式時的俯視示意圖。請參閱圖1與圖2C,在步驟S101之後,觸控電子裝置100也可進行步驟S103,讓觸控電子裝置100處於手寫模式。在步驟S103中,當觸控電子裝置100處於手寫模式時,觸控反射式顯示面板120會感測物體10在觸控反射式顯示面板120上的移動軌跡T1。以圖2C為例,當觸控電子裝置100處於手寫模式時,使用者可用物體10在觸控反射式顯示面板120上書寫文字,如圖2C所示的「A」,而此文字(即圖2C所示的「A」)實質上為物體10在觸控反射式顯示面板120上的移動軌跡T1。
在步驟S103之後,觸控電子裝置100進行步驟S104,根據移動軌跡T1,處理器110輸入局部畫面信號至觸控反射式顯示面板120。具體而言,觸控反射式顯示面板120會感測移動軌跡T1,以產生對應的觸控信號。觸控反射式顯示面板120會將此觸控信號輸入至處理器110,而處理器110能根據觸控信號產生對應的局部畫面信號,並將局部畫面信號輸入至觸控反射式顯示面板120。
觸控反射式顯示面板120在接收局部畫面信號之後,會更新對應移動軌跡T1的部分這些畫素。詳細而言,根據局部畫面信號,觸控反射式顯示面板120僅更新移動軌跡T1所佔據或分布的多個畫素,其他沒被移動軌跡T1佔據或分布的畫素則不更新。此外,上述局部畫面信號可經由通用序列匯流排(Universal Serial Bus,USB)輸入至觸控反射式顯示面板120。
綜上所述,當觸控電子裝置處於手寫模式時,觸控反射式顯示面板會根據局部畫面信號來更新對應移動軌跡的部分這些畫素,而非依據全畫面信號來更新所有畫素。因此,相較於現有具備手寫功能的電子紙,本發明至少一實施例的觸控電子裝置在手寫模式下能縮短畫面更新的時間,以幫助減少手寫延遲的情況,從而即時顯示使用者的手寫軌跡,進而提升使用者在操作上的便利性。
雖然本發明已以實施例揭露如上,然其並非用以限定本發明,本發明所屬技術領域中具有通常知識者,在不脫離本發明精神和範圍內,當可作些許更動與潤飾,因此本發明保護範圍當視後附的申請專利範圍所界定者為準。

Claims (7)

  1. 一種影像信號輸入方法,適用於一觸控電子裝置,其中該觸控電子裝置包括一觸控反射式顯示面板,而該觸控反射式顯示面板具有多個畫素,該影像信號輸入方法包括:當該觸控電子裝置處於一非手寫模式時,輸入一全畫面信號至該觸控反射式顯示面板,以更新該觸控反射式顯示面板的該些畫素;當該觸控電子裝置處於一手寫模式時,感測一物體在該觸控反射式顯示面板上的一移動軌跡;以及根據該移動軌跡,輸入一局部畫面信號至該觸控反射式顯示面板,以更新對應該移動軌跡的該觸控反射式顯示面板的部分該些畫素,其中當該觸控電子裝置處於該非手寫模式時,該全畫面信號是經由行動產業處理器接口輸入至該觸控反射式顯示面板。
  2. 如請求項1所述的影像信號輸入方法,其中該非手寫模式為一閱讀模式。
  3. 如請求項1所述的影像信號輸入方法,其中該觸控反射式顯示面板包括電濕潤顯示面板或電泳式顯示面板。
  4. 如請求項1所述的影像信號輸入方法,其中當該觸控電子裝置處於該手寫模式時,該局部畫面信號是經由通用序列匯流排輸入至該觸控反射式顯示面板。
  5. 如請求項1所述的影像信號輸入方法,還包括:根據一第一模式指令,令該觸控電子裝置處於該非手寫模式;以及根據一第二模式指令,令該觸控電子裝置處於該手寫模式。
  6. 如請求項1所述的影像信號輸入方法,其中輸入該全畫面信號至該觸控反射式顯示面板的步驟包括:根據一翻頁指令,輸入該翻頁信號至該觸控反射式顯示面板。
  7. 如請求項1所述的影像信號輸入方法,其中輸入該全畫面信號至該觸控反射式顯示面板的步驟包括:根據一首頁指令,輸入該首頁信號至該觸控反射式顯示面板。
