Description
本發明大體上係有關於可攜式裝置,特定而言係有關於用於電子裝置之安全方法。
行動通訊系統一般包含多個基地台,其用於與不同地理傳輸區域中之行動台通訊。每一個基地台提供行動台與電信網路之間的介面,現正使用或正被開發的行動電話系統的地理涵蓋區域係分成多個較小的獨立細胞(cell),其經由位於細胞內之固定站台(fixed station)與網路通訊。屬於該系統之行動電話可自由地從一個細胞移動至另一個細胞。當相同系統內或一外部系統內之用戶欲呼叫此系統內之一行動用戶時,該網路必須具有該行動用戶之實際位置的資訊。
指紋感測器係為一種用以擷取指紋圖像之數位影像的電子裝置。光學指紋成像牽涉到利用可見光擷取指紋的數位影像,這種感測器本質上係為類似一種數位影像擷取。放置手指的感測器頂層係稱為觸碰表面。超音波感測器係利用醫學超音波的原理,以產生指紋的視覺影像。該裝置需要用於觸碰輸入之大型陣列,目前指紋安全裝置亦提供鄰近於觸控面板,一般而言指紋安全裝置係由以半導體方法製造的互補式金屬氧化物半導體(Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semi-conductor,CMOS)感測器形成。
本發明之目的係為省略額外的CMOS指紋感測器。
本發明提供一種可攜式裝置,包含:一控制單元;一顯示器,其耦合至上述控制單元;一雙無線模組,其耦合至上述控制單元以用於無線資料傳輸,其中上述雙無線模組包含一第一及一第二無線資料傳輸模組,用以允許使用者選擇一期望者來與外部裝置通訊。
一種用於電子裝置之安全方法包含提供具有一安全模式及一操
作模式之上述電子裝置,其中上述電子裝置包含一觸控面板,其具有一感測陣列。藉由利用上述感測陣列取得一樣本指紋;於上述安全模式中藉由利用上述感測陣列感測一指紋而取得一偵測指紋。於上述安全模式中將上述樣本指紋與上述偵測指紋相比較,接著若上述偵測指紋匹配上述樣本指紋,則解鎖上述電子裝置,且將上述電子裝置切換至上述操作模式。產生一控制訊號以響應一觸碰事件,接著控制顯示於一顯示器上之一虛擬物件以響應上述控制信號。
上述感測陣列包含一電容式感測陣列。上述樣本指紋包含一樣本電容圖案;上述偵測指紋包含一偵測電容圖案。上述電子裝置包含一手勢應用程式;於上述安全模式中上述手勢應用程式係失效。於上述操作模式中上述手勢應用程式係啟動。

本發明大體上係有關於一種運算或可攜式裝置。上述裝置包含但不限於行動電話、個人數位助理(PDA,personal digital assistant)、智慧型手機、筆記型電腦、數位靜態相機、數位錄影機、媒體播放器(MP3、MP4)、全球定位系統(GPS,global positioning system)、平板電腦及其等同物。第一圖係根據本發明之一實施例顯示具有觸控面板之可攜式通訊裝置的主要元件之示意圖。於如第一圖所示的實施例中,可攜式裝置10包含射頻(RF)模組190。如此領域所熟知,射頻模組190包含天線。此天線係連接至一收發器,其用以接收及傳送訊號。如此領域所熟知,射頻模組190進一步包含編解碼器(CODEC)、數位訊號處理器(DSP,digital signal processor)以及類比數位轉換器(A/D converter)。由於射頻模組並非本發明的特徵,故省略其詳細敘述。本發明包含一中央控制積體電路(IC)100、一輸入及輸出(I/O)單元150、作業系統(OS,operating system)145、記憶體165,可攜式裝置10可包含其他記憶體155例如唯讀記憶體、隨機存取記憶體及快閃記憶體。射頻模組可實施訊號傳送及接收、頻率合成、基頻處理及數位訊號處理的功能。若可攜式裝置為行動電話,則用戶識別卡(SIM)硬體介面係予以提供以接受一用戶識別卡。最後,訊號係傳送至最終致動器,亦即揚

本發明進一步包含一無線傳送/接收模組(圖未示),其耦合至中央
控制積體電路100。傳送/接收模組係與藍牙、家用無線傳輸(home-RF)、802.11x、WiFi、WiMAX標準或其更高階版本相容。傳送範圍(空氣)一般上不具安全性,因此必要在無線傳輸網路中加密。於一實施例中,在無線傳輸網路之每一相鄰無線網路裝置之間進行對稱加密/解密係在本領域中廣為人知的。從無線傳輸網路之一端的一無線裝置離開至相同網路之另一端的資料框在其到達其最後目的地之前可能需要若干加密及解密。作業系統係運行於中央處理器上,提供控制且用於組織系統之各個元件及應用程式的功能。程式係安裝於裝置中以利用電性訊號控制功能及/或裝置所控制的功能。
可攜式電子裝置例如為行動電話、個人數位助理、媒體播放器及
全球定位系統或筆記型電腦、平板電腦及遊戲機。可攜式電子裝置係配置有感測陣列於顯示器上。感測陣列係配置以偵測目標例如手指的存在以及被手指或手掌在面板表面上施力的位置。作為實例,感測陣列可以電容感測為基礎。一般而言,感測陣列包含一x電極陣列及y陣列以感測x軸及y軸觸控事件,以決定觸碰位置。
可攜式電子裝置包含一外殼及一顯示器400,其位於外殼之前表
面中。可攜式電子裝置亦包含一觸控感測陣列420,其位於顯示器上。第一圖係根據本發明之一實施例顯示手持電子裝置之示意圖。手持電子裝置包含一外殼,其內部密封有多個包含積體電路晶片之電性元件。手持電子裝置亦包含一顯示器,其設置於外殼的一開孔內且可透過開孔觀看,顯示器提供以文字、符號或圖形形式的視覺資訊。為了產生使用者輸入,手持電子裝置可包含感測陣列,其係為位於顯示器前方的透明輸入面板。當目標例如手指從一保持陣列上的特定位置的目標橫跨感測陣列表面例如以線性地、放射狀地、旋轉式地等方式移動及/或在陣列上輕敲時,感測陣列產生輸入訊號。於大多數的情況中,感測陣列允許使用者藉由透過手指單純地觸碰顯示螢幕而初始化圖形使用者介面中之移動。例如,感測陣列識別出觸碰及顯示器上觸碰的位置,且手持電子裝置之解譯控制器對觸碰進行解譯,因而實施一基於上述觸碰事件的動作。根據一實施例,感測陣列係為多點觸控感測裝置,其具有同時感測多個觸碰點且具有將多個觸碰回應給手持電子裝置之控制器的能力。於一實作中,感測陣列係
為多點電容式觸控螢幕,其分成若干個獨立區域。通常為透明的感測點係散佈於感測陣列周圍,每一感測點代表顯示器表面上之一不同位置。感測點可位於一柵格或一畫素陣列中,於其中每一像素化的感測點能夠產生一訊號。每當目標位於感測點上方時就會產生訊號,當目標放置於多個感測點上方時可產生多個訊號。感測點一般會將觸控螢幕平面映射為一座標系統例如卡氏(Cartesian)座標系統或極座標系統。
手持電子裝置可加以設計以識別對觸控感測陣列420施加的手
勢,並基於上述手勢控制手持電子裝置的方向。上述手勢可透過不同特定的手指動作來進行。手持電子裝置可包含手勢操作程式(應用程式)230,其可為作業系統的一部分或為一獨立的應用程式。手勢操作程式230大體上包含一組指令,其識別手勢的出現,並通知一或多個軟體代理器(software agents)關於手勢及/或為了響應手勢要採取何種作動。
於一實施例中,感測輸入裝置係映射至顯示器。當進行映射時,感測輸入裝置上的點係與顯示器上之點一致,亦即具有相同的座標(x及y)。因此,當使用者觸碰感測輸入裝置表面時,其將會看起來好像使用者正在觸碰顯示器之相同位置處的影像。如圖所示,感測陣列係分成若干個獨立且空間上相區分的感測點(或區域),其係設置於各自的元件之內。感測點大體上係散佈於各自的元件周圍,每一個感測點代表元件表面上不同的位置。感測點的數量及配置大體上取決於觸控表面之期望解析度。於此實例中,每當手指位於一感測點上方時會產生一個訊號。應領會者為,一已知時段中訊號的數量、組合及頻率可表示在裝置表面上的手指或手掌之大小、位置、方向、速度、加速度及壓力。作為實例,控制系統可為位於裝置外殼內之微控制器。
感測點處所產生的訊號可用以決定使用者欲如何移動顯示於顯
示器上之網頁或虛擬物件。作為實例,手與裝置接觸的每個部份會產生一接觸面區域(contact patch area)。每個接觸面區域會涵蓋若干個感測點,因而產生若干個訊號。前述訊號可聚集在一起以形成代表使用者如何移動虛擬物件或網頁的一訊號。於一實施例中,目前的訊號與最後的手訊號之間的差異可表示使用者對於施行移動網頁功能的預期。接觸面區域之間的改變可進一步表示特定的移動訊號。觸碰表面係分成一或多個按鈕區域,其代表當被選擇時會實施與按鈕區域相關聯之特定按鈕功能的裝置區域。按鈕區域的位置及尺寸亦可以客製
化,例如,上一頁、下一頁等等,上述客製化可由使用者及/或裝置所實施。
手指具有指紋,指紋係為人類或其他靈長類動物的手部之任何部
位的摩擦脊(friction ridges)所產生的印痕。指紋係為各種形式的生物統計學之其中之一,其用以識別個體且確認其身份。摩擦脊係為手指/腳趾上表皮的凸起部份,這些有時稱為「表皮脊」。當手指位於例如觸控面板上之電容式感測器上方時,手指將會因為指紋的圖案而在不同的點上造成不同之電容。電容式感測器利用與電容有關之原理形成指紋影像。於此成像方法中,感測陣列畫素的每一者係作用為平行板電容器之其中一個導電板,真皮層(其係為導電的)係作用為另一個導電板,且非導電性的表皮層係作用為介電。被動式電容感測器利用以上所概述的原理形成皮膚真皮層上之指紋圖案的影像。每一感測器畫素係用以測量陣列之該點上之電容。電容會在指紋之脊部及谷部之間改變,乃因真皮層與谷部中之感測元件之間的體積內含有一空氣間隔。表皮及感測元件區域的介電係數係為已知數值。所測量的電容數值接著用以分辨指紋脊部及谷部。當在識別模式或取樣(樣板)模式時,手勢應用程式係為關閉(失效),安全模組記錄指紋所造成的電容圖案。因此獲得指紋的樣本。每一個接觸面區域係涵蓋若干個感測點,因而產生若干個訊號。前述訊號可聚集在一起以形成代表指紋圖案的訊號。電子裝置係提供有控制單元及觸控面板,觸控面板具有感測陣列,其耦合至控制單元,其中電子裝置包含耦合至控制單元之一安全模式及一操作模式。
第二圖係根據本發明之一實施例顯示一操作方法。於步驟900中,指紋樣本或樣板係藉由使手勢應用程式失效並感測手指電容圖案而預備。本方法大體上開始於方塊1000,其中裝置係為待機狀態。當裝置於安全模式時,任何人都不能在沒有指紋之情況下操作裝置。於安全模式時,手勢應用程式係未啟動或失效(關閉),安全模組取得手指的每個點之電容,因而於方塊1100中產生偵測電容圖案。於方塊1200中,電容圖案係與樣本電容相比較,以決定要鎖定或解鎖裝置。若匹配,則於方塊1300中裝置被解鎖。在對裝置例如行動電話解鎖之後,其切換至操作模式或觸控模式,且其待機等待訊號輸入(方塊1400),手勢應用程式係被致能或啟動,待機大體上意味裝置係於準備就緒的狀態等待發生某事,亦即使用者藉其初始化一作動。接續方塊1400,流程進行到方塊1500,其中進行關於使用者是否正在觸碰裝置之判斷。此大體上係以當手接近裝置時能夠產生訊號之觸控裝置以及配置以監控觸控裝置之活動的控制系
統來完成。若判斷使用者並未觸碰裝置,則流程進行回到方塊1400,因此保持裝置於待機狀態。若判斷使用者正在觸碰裝置,則流程進行到方塊1600,於其中觸碰被判定。
於一實施例中,一旦第二位置被判定,則流程進行到方塊1700,
至少二個感測點訊號係由控制器偵測出。接續方塊1700,流程進行到方塊1800,其中觸碰事件被監控,控制訊號係基於觸碰事件產生。控制訊號可用以通知裝置內之應用程式軟體要移動螢幕上所顯示之虛擬物件或頁面,以取代藉由按鍵、游標或觸控筆移動頁面。
處理器可實施於單一晶片、多晶片或多個電性元件上。例如,不
同的結構可用於處理器上,包含專用或內嵌式處理器、單一用途處理器、控制器、特殊應用積體電路(ASIC,Application-specific integrated circuit)等等。於大多數的情況中,處理器與作業系統一同操作以執行計算機碼及產生並使用資料。作業系統可對應於已知作業系統例如OS/2、DOS、Unix、Linux及Palm OS。
記憶體提供儲存計算機碼的位置,前述記憶體可包含唯讀記憶體、隨機存取記憶體、硬碟、快閃記憶體及/或其類似物。顯示器大體上係配置以顯示圖形使用者介面(GUI,graphical user interface),其提供電子裝置的使用者與作業系統或運行於其上的應用程式之間的一簡易使用的介面。電子裝置亦包含一觸控螢幕,其係可操作地耦合至處理器。觸控螢幕係配置以從外部傳送資料至裝置內。電子裝置亦包含一感測裝置,其可操作地耦合至處理器。感測裝置亦可用以發出網頁移動指令。
手持裝置的實例包含個人數位助理(PDA)、行動電話、媒體播放器、遊戲機、相機、全球定位系統接收器及其類似物。因此,使用者可藉由在感測陣列上直接移動手指而移動顯示於顯示器上之網頁、影像或文件。使用者可直接藉由手或使用者的手指移動顯示於顯示器上之網頁、文字、影像、圖示。

Claims (11)
- 一種用於電子裝置之安全方法,包括:提供具有一控制單元及一觸控面板之該電子裝置,該觸控面板具有耦合至該控制單元之一感測陣列,其中該電子裝置包含一安全模式及一操作模式;藉由利用該感測陣列取得一樣本指紋;於該安全模式中藉由利用該感測陣列感測一指紋而取得一偵測指紋,其中該樣本指紋及該偵測指紋係藉由感測使用者的手指之手指電容圖案而產生,而該感測陣列係作用為一平行板電容器之一導電板,該使用者的手指之真皮層係作用為該平行板電容器之另一導電板,且該使用者的手指之非導電性表皮層係作用為該平行板電容器之介電層,用以測量該感測陣列的一點上之電容;於該安全模式中將該樣本指紋與該偵測指紋相比較;若該偵測指紋匹配該樣本指紋,則解鎖該電子裝置,且將該電子裝置切換至該操作模式;產生一控制訊號以響應一觸碰事件;以及控制顯示於一顯示器上之一虛擬物件以響應該控制信號。
- 如請求項1所述之用於電子裝置之安全方法,其中該感測陣列包含一電容式感測陣列。
- 如請求項2所述之用於電子裝置之安全方法,其中該樣本指紋包含一樣本電容圖案。
- 如請求項1所述之用於電子裝置之安全方法,其中該電子裝置包含一手勢應用程式。
- 一種用於電子裝置之安全方法,包含:提供具有一控制單元及一觸控面板之該電子裝置,該觸控面板具有耦合至該 控制單元之一感測陣列,其中該電子裝置包含一安全模式及一操作模式;於該安全模式中藉由利用該感測陣列感測一指紋而取得一偵測指紋;於該安全模式中將該偵測指紋與一樣板相比較,其中該樣板及該偵測指紋係藉由感測使用者的手指之手指電容圖案而產生,而該感測陣列係作用為一平行板電容器之一導電板,該使用者的手指之真皮層係作用為該平行板電容器之另一導電板,且該使用者的手指之非導電性表皮層係作用為該平行板電容器之介電層,用以測量該感測陣列的一點上之電容;若該偵測指紋匹配該樣板,則解鎖該電子裝置,且將該電子裝置切換至該操作模式;以及產生一控制訊號以響應一觸碰事件。
