Description
本發明係關於包含豬乳中所含的芳族物質之組合物。
當今,在對小豬進行數項研究之後,發現自由採食水平(voluntary level of food intake)受不同因素所影響,諸如成分及其可消化性、適口性、呈現形式(加工類型)、用於定量配給之系統及模式、水可用性等。在當前密集型生產條件下,小豬必須快速適應自母乳至配合飼料之改變,該改變會影響其自由採食量(voluntary feed intake)並因而影響其營養攝入量(nutrient intake);該改變引起關於生長及消化病理學表現之普通結果。在過去,藉由使用促生長抗生素及金屬微量元素(Zn、Cu)來預防消化病理學。歐盟在2006年1月發布之抗生素生長促進劑禁令及對使用Zn及Cu之限制使得必需尋找替代的解決方案。其中最受關注者為益菌生(prebiotics)、益生菌(probiotics)、酶、酸化劑及植物萃取物。上述替代者之補充策略為使用芳香物質以藉由吸引及食慾來增加自由採食量。
已知可能藉由在飼料中併入增加食慾之感官添加劑來增加自由採食量。因此,專利US4125629描述了一種欲與存於醛、醇、酯及菇類中之小豬飼料混合之芳香組合物。專利US5906842描述了一種刺激乳牛食慾之組合物,其包含玉米、離胺酸及甲硫胺酸之製劑。專利US6592924描述包含烷基酚及環己烷羧酸或其烷基取代衍生物的芳香組合,其可添加至寵物飼料。專利申請案EP174821描述改良對家畜之可接受性之芳香組合物,其尤其包含正己醛、順式-3-己烯-1-醇、1-辛烯-3-醇及β-紫羅蘭酮(beta-ionone)。專利申請案EP951840描述用於飼料之芳香組合物,其含有2-乙醯基-2-噻唑啉及其前驅物以及其他成分(諸如烷基化噻唑烷、2-甲基-3-呋喃硫醇及巰基戊酮)。
JP 10 146156描述向豬之顆粒飼料(pellet feed)添加水蜜桃香料(peach flavor)。水蜜桃香料包含正丁酸乙酯、γ-壬內酯、2-甲基丁烯-3、γ-十一酸內酯、苯甲醛、麥芽醇(maltol)及等度酸(isocratic acid)。
WO 2004/091307描述動物飼料添加劑,據稱其保護動物而免於疾病。
現有技術之組合物可能引起動物之不耐受性(intolerance),因為其含有對動物而言外來之組分。這方面在欲餵食之動物具有短壽命時極為重要,使動物更易受攝入新物質之傷害。
相反,本發明組合物之主要優點在於除液體基質(丙二醇)外,所有其成分均已存在於母乳中,因此確保了耐受性。
另一方面,本發明之成分對熟習此項技術者而言易於製備或者可在市場上購買到,此為本發明之額外優點。
本發明之組合物可刺激自由採食量且因此改良小豬在自母豬乳轉變為完全飼料形式之固體飼料期間所遭受之壓力(stress)。已利用存在於初乳中的一些芳香物質與母豬乳之組合,藉助於萃取及氣相層析法使得將其以某些比例(不同於其在天然產品中所具有之彼等比例)組合而產生了組合物,當將組合物添加至該等飼料中時驚人地增加了小豬之飼料消耗。
在第一具體實例中,本發明係關於芳香組合物,其包含70至90%之丙二醇、6至10%之香草醛(vanillin)、6至12%之γ-壬內酯、0.5%至1%之乙酸(C4

本發明之另一具體實例係關於上述組合物增加小豬食慾之用途。
在本發明之另一具體實例中,藉由以0.005至0.050%之濃度添加至飼料中來使用該等組合物。
在本發明之另一具體實例中,較佳以0.015至0.035%之濃度來使用該等組合物。
可藉由將成分按照熟習此項技術者所已知之調配程序混合來製備組合物。
當以液體或固體(吸附於固體基質上)形式併入飼料中時,本發明之組合物增加飼料之吸引及食慾,使小豬熟悉飼料,從而改良其消化系統之適應且滿足其營養需要。
本發明之組合物促進豬群飼養(pigstock breeding)中從液體餵養(母豬乳)至固體餵養(飼料)之轉變,因為其改良動物之自由採食量。

實施例:小豬中之飼料消耗測試
在具有280隻繁殖母豬,每月使約400隻小豬斷乳之農場進行測試。使用具有10個分娩欄之產房之一。分娩欄完全相同;母豬在分娩欄中心,小豬保護籠中有飲水槽及餵料槽,且在側邊有供小豬使用之1個飲水槽及2個餵料槽。
本測試使用10隻多產的藍瑞斯豬(Landrace)×大白豬(Large White)母豬。
測試以76隻10天大的小豬開始且在第28天,以73隻小豬結束。
雙處理設計(Two-treatment design):
A.具有標準組合物(A,批號:66569)之麵粉型飼料,該標準組合物由具有餅乾(乳、黃油、香草)觸感之芳香物組成
B.具有本發明組合物(B),批號:66044之麵粉型飼料。該組合物詳情見表1。
兩種飼料含有相同比例之相同成分,芳香組合物除外,其對各製劑而言不同,以350mg/kg飼料之比例來添加。
在小豬10天大時首次投與飼料,且將飼料維持至小豬28天之斷乳年齡(28 days weaning off old)(斷乳)。使用雙餵料槽方法。各分娩欄有2個為小豬設計之餵料槽。小豬餵料槽位於母豬保護籠之各側且每日交替位置以防止右或左偏向效應(bias effect)。表2顯示飼料成分,而表3顯示其營養價值。
在生命之第10天至第28天,每個分娩欄每日執行小豬消耗對照。藉由24小時後餵料槽中初始量與最終量之間的重量差異所確定之飼料消失獲得消耗量。必須考慮到,消失之飼料總量不等於所消耗之飼料總量,因為有一部分被浪費;所浪費之部分對2種飼料之每一種而言視為相等。
藉助於平均值檢驗之多重比較,比較2個樣本之平均值為不同之假設來分析資料。將樣本配對,使得對各樣本A而言,有一個在相同條件下所獲得之樣本B,由此消除同等地影響2種處理之隨機效應且減小資料無法解釋之變動。將消耗差異之百分比定義為消除各場地中小豬之不同量的效應或消除在測試期間各小豬之不同消耗之效應的變數。消耗結果以每日及每場地每日總量來分析。
表4顯示10個場地之每一場地中對各飼料每日的總消耗結果。結果顯示對含有芳香組合物B之飼料具有更大偏好。
表5及6顯示統計研究。當以消耗重量及以基於總重量之百分比來表示時,每日差異均顯著大於零;吾人因此可推斷一種飼料優於另一飼料。每日差異之平均值為12.58%,信賴區間為95%。
表7顯示各場地每日消耗百分比之結果。所研究之變數為各飼料之消耗相對於總消耗之百分比。統計研究(表8)為顯著的。

圖1顯示根據動物生命天數之飼料消耗。
本測試及相應統計研究之結果顯示,相對飼料A(具有標準組合物之飼料)偏愛飼料B(具有本發明組合物之飼料)的小豬之間存在顯著的消耗差異(95%信賴區間)。
飼料之更大消耗說明胃腸黏膜之更快發育及因而更高之營養吸收。
圖1顯示每隻小豬每日之平均飼料消耗,y軸上以公克計,粗線表示總消耗,標註三角形之細線表示飼料A之平均消耗,而標註正方形之細線表示飼料B之平均消耗。x軸表示小豬之生命天數。
Claims (19)
- 一種芳香組合物,其包含70至90%之丙二醇、6至10%之香草醛、6至12%之γ-壬內酯、0.5%至1%之乙酸(C4 -C5 )直鏈或支鏈烷酯、0.05至0.25%之橙橘精油(orange essential oil)、0.05至0.25%之苯甲酸(C1 -C5 )直鏈或支鏈烷酯、0.05至0.25%之肉桂酸(C1 -C3 )直鏈或支鏈烷酯、0.25至1%之丁酸苄酯及總共0.2至2%之一或兩種丁酸(C1 -C6 )直鏈或支鏈烷酯。
