Description
本發明通常係與顯微手術系統且更明確地係與用於此等顯微手術的系統之外科手術卡匣有關。
在小切口的手術期間(特別是在眼睛手術的期間),小探針係被插入手術位置內以切割、移除,或是移動組織。在這些外科手術步驟期間,流體係典型地被灌注至眼睛內,而該灌注液體與組織係從該外科手術位置進行送氣。一流體地與該探針以及一外科手術系統或控制檯連結之外科手術卡匣,會調控該被灌注至眼睛內並且係自該外科手術位置進行送氣的流體。
在眼睛手術期間,加壓空氣可被用於許多種用途。某些的這些功能需要有無菌空氣來使得被灌注至眼睛內的手術液體增壓。傳統上,此一經增壓的空氣係由該外科手術卡匣所流體地連結的該外科手術系統所提供。為了將該增壓空氣進行滅菌,標準的醫學等級空氣過濾器係被設置於此一外科手術系統裡面的充氣管線上,當該卡匣被設置於該外科手術系統裡面時,該管線係流體地連結至該外科手術卡匣。此等標準空氣過濾器包括有安裝在一塑膠過濾殼體裡面的厭水性、微生物-細菌過濾媒介。安裝至該殼體中的過濾媒介之價格大約是該媒介本身價格的數十倍。厭水性、微生物-細菌的過濾媒介,也可以被直接地設置於外科手術卡匣內介於該卡匣的該硬質殼體之一部分以及該卡匣之間,並且一彈性媒介係被用來作為外科手術系統的該卡匣與可動部件之間的界面。然而,此一設計需要襯墊或其他元件以將該過濾媒介有效地密封至該卡匣。
因此,目前仍需要一種具有改良空氣過濾器之外科手術卡匣。
本發明係為一種具有經改良的空氣過濾器之外科手術卡匣。在一態樣中,該卡匣包括有一具有一過濾器腔室之卡匣殼體,該過濾器腔室具有一第一硬質表面、一第二硬質表面,以及一用於對該腔室提供加壓空氣之開口。一過濾媒介係被設置在該腔室裡面介於該第一硬質表面與該第二硬質表面之間處。該過濾媒介係以熱密封至該第一硬質表面與該第二硬質表面中之一者上。
為了對本發明以及其之進一步目的和優點得到更充份的理解,應參考下列的描述以及該等隨附的圖式,其中:第1圖是依照本發明的一較佳具體例之外科手術卡匣的前側透視圖;第2圖是第1圖的外科手術卡匣之側視剖面圖;第3圖是第1圖的外科手術卡匣之頂視剖面圖;第4圖係為在第3圖所顯示的圓圈A之區域部份放大剖面圖;第5圖係為在第3圖所顯示的圓圈B之區域部份放大剖面圖;第6圖係為在第3圖所顯示的圓圈C之區域部份放大剖面圖;第7圖係為第1圖的外科手術卡匣的蓋子之放大後側透視圖。
本發明的較佳具體例與其之優點可以在參照該等圖式中之第1-7圖下而被充份了解,類似的元件標號係被用於該等各種不同圖式中之類似與對應部件。如在該等圖式中所示,眼部的外科手術卡匣10係較佳地包括有殼體11、外蓋12以及一本體14。外蓋12與本體14兩者均係較佳地由硬質塑膠所製成。外蓋12係較佳地包括有一把手16以協助將卡匣10設置於一眼部外科手術系統內(未顯示)。本體14的後側壁18係被用來可操作地與一外科手術系統連結。雖然卡匣10在此被描述為眼部外科手術卡匣,該卡匣10也可被用於任何需要流體管控之外科手術或醫學系統中。
如第3圖所最顯示,後側壁18較佳地包括有被分別流體地連結至腔室26、28和30的開口20、22和24。開口20、22和24係用於與設置於該外科手術系統中之流體管線32、34和36流體地連結,並對腔室26、28和30提供加壓空氣。腔室26係較佳地由本體14的後側壁18、側邊側壁38和內側側壁40所形成。腔室28係較佳地由本體14的後側壁18、內側側壁40和內側側壁42所形成。腔室30係較佳地由本體14的後側壁18、內側側壁42和側邊側壁44所形成。一過濾媒介46係沿著側壁38、40、42與44的前側表面48而設置於本體14與外蓋12之間。過濾媒介46係較佳地為一傳統的厭水性、微生物-細菌濾膜,其係典型地被用於標準的醫用過濾器中。一較佳的過濾媒介46係為可以自Pall Corporation公司取得的VERSAPOR濾膜(0.8微米)。卡匣10係較佳地包括有一或更多個流體地連結至每個腔室26、28和30之流體管線、通道及/或開口50,以對卡匣10之其他部分及/或流體地連結至卡匣10之外科手術的手持工具(未顯示)提供加壓空氣。
如在第4、6與7圖中所顯示,該外蓋12係較佳地具有一設置於其之後表面61上的凸緣60。該凸緣60允許外蓋12與本體14被流體地密封在一起,其係較佳地沿著表面62和64藉由剪切焊接作用而密封。如在第4、5和6圖中所充份顯示的,本體14係較佳地具有與過濾媒介46形成界面之凸起的密封表面66,以將過濾媒介46密封於本體14和外蓋12之間。外蓋12係較佳地具有一與過濾媒介46以及本體14的內側側壁40和42形成界面之凸起密封表面68,以將過濾腔室26自過濾腔室28密封,並將過濾腔室30自過濾腔室28密封。外蓋12係較佳地也具有數個用於與過濾媒介46形成界面之密封力量導引器70,以將過濾媒介46密封於本體14和外蓋12之間。
由上述說明中可能瞭解,本發明係在一外科手術卡匣中提供經改善的空氣濾清作用。本發明可以去除對於用在標準醫學等級之空氣過濾器的需求,而實質上減少在一外科手術卡匣中之空氣過濾作用的成本,並可以同時形成數個過濾腔室,而不需要襯墊或其他元件以將過濾媒介密封於該卡匣。
本發明在此係以具體例來舉例說明,而習於此藝者將可以進行各種不同的修改。舉例來說,雖人本發明過濾媒介46在上文中被描述成係被密封於外蓋12和卡匣10的本體14之間,過濾媒介46可以被密封於例如一扣板和一本體之卡匣10的任何二種硬質元件之間。在另一具體例中,雖然本發明本發明在上文中過濾媒介46被描述成係被熱密封至唯一的本體14,過濾媒介46也可以被熱密封至外蓋12。
本發明的運作與架構方式相信將可以由前面的描述而變得明顯。同時上面所顯示或描述之裝置與方已經被視為被偏愛的器和,各種不同的改變和修正沒有從如下方法應被視為較佳特例,而可以在不背離界定於下列的申請專利範圍中之精神和範圍下,在其中進行各種不同的變化與修改。

Claims (13)
- 一種外科手術卡匣,其包含有:一本體,其包含:一後側壁(rear wall);一自該後側壁延伸出之背側邊側壁(back side wall);一自該後側壁延伸出以分隔出一第一腔室與一第二腔室之內側側壁(internal wall);一延伸通過該後側壁以供應流體至該第一腔室的第一入口開口(port);一延伸通過該後側壁以供應流體至該第二腔室的第二入口開口;一連結至該本體的外蓋,其中該外蓋包含:一延伸通過該外蓋以接受來自該第一腔室之流體的第一出口開口;一延伸通過該外蓋以接受來自該第二腔室之流體的第二出口開口;數個密封力量導引器,其中該數個密封力量導引器包含在該第一腔室中之一陣列的至少三個密封力量導引器及在該第二腔室中之另一陣列的至少三個密封力量導引器;一單一過濾媒介,其係透過在該本體與外蓋之間的多個供形成界面之凸起的密封表面而被固定在該外蓋與該本體之間,其中該單一過濾媒介延伸通過該第一腔室及該第二腔室以過濾游動通過該第一腔室及該第二 腔室的空氣,且其中至少一支組(subset)之該等凸起的密封表面具有三角形截面,而該三角形截面的一頂點係直接接觸該過濾媒介以將該單一過濾媒介密封於該本體與外蓋之間的位置處,俾使得該單一過濾媒介係直接設置在該數個密封力量導引器之上;其中該第一腔室包括至少該後側壁、該第一腔室之與該後側壁相對之側上的外蓋、該背側邊側壁、及該內側側壁;其中該第二腔室包括至少該後側壁、該第二腔室之與該後側壁相對之側上的外蓋、該背側邊側壁、及該內側側壁。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項的外科手術卡匣,其中該等凸起的密封表面中之數個係延伸自該內側側壁。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項的外科手術卡匣,其中該過濾媒介係被熱密封至該外蓋及該本體兩者。

- 一種外科手術卡匣,其包含有:一本體,其包含:一後側壁;一自該後側壁延伸出之背側邊側壁;一自該後側壁延伸出以分隔出一第一腔室與一第二腔室之內側側壁;一延伸通過該後側壁以供應流體至該第一腔室的第一入口開口;一延伸通過該後側壁以供應流體至該第二腔室的第二入口開口;一連結至該本體的外蓋,其中該外蓋包含:一延伸通過該外蓋以接受來自該第一腔室之流體的第一出口開口;一延伸通過該外蓋以接受來自該第二腔室之流體的第二出口開口;數個密封力量導引器,其中該數個密封力量導引器包含在該第一腔室中之一陣列的至少三個密封力量導引器及在該第二腔室中之另一陣列的至少三個密封力量導引器;一單一過濾媒介,其係透過在該本體與外蓋之間的多個供形成界面之凸起的密封表面而被固定在該外蓋與該本體之間,其中該單一過濾媒介延伸通過該第一腔室及該第二腔室以過濾游動通過該第一腔室及該第二 腔室的空氣,且其中該單一過濾媒介係被熱密封於該內側側壁與該外蓋之間並進一步透過與至少一支組之該等凸起的密封表面交互作用來固定在該外蓋與該本體之間,其中該等凸起的密封表面具有三角形截面,而該三角形截面的一頂點係直接接觸該過濾媒介;其中該第一腔室包括至少該後側壁、該第一腔室之與該後側壁相對之側上的外蓋、該背側邊側壁、及該內側側壁;其中該第二腔室包括至少該後側壁、該第二腔室之與該後側壁相對之側上的外蓋、該背側邊側壁、及該內側側壁。
